Insurance Frustration

I am so frustrated at Humana I could scream!   You SuckI called yesterday and got the name of the RN case manager who is reviewing my approval and I left her a message and she hasn't called me back so I left her another message today and she still hasn't called me back.  I looked online and got the physical address to Humana in case I have to write a letter to her or someone higher up.  They have until Nov. 15th to process my approval if not then I will drop them and just go with straight medicare.  Nov. 15th is plenty of time for them to review my case I'm not going to let them drag this out for months.  I read online that in 2009 they are not going to cover wls anymore?  I really hate insurance companies they suck!!!  I'm trying to be patient but I am only going to put up with this a short while before I explode and end up writing to everyone on the bariatric team there.  Pray for my speedy approval cause I'm really trying to get my surgery done by the end of the year since I will be off from work for 2 weeks for Christmas break! Hi Bev,  I'd be frustrated too. It's probably just another stall tactic. I'd call every day if I had to, there are lots of insurance companies that can approve with in days. Mine took less then 7 days for an answer.  I will send lots of positive energy your way, in hopes that you get a good answer A.S.A.P!
