Hello Mo

Good Morning Mo OH I had my scope done yesterday and all went well. I have my surgery on Tuesday 30th. I am ready. Those nurses are so friendly. The only problem we had was my daughter does not know im having WLS surgery and i took her yesterday so she could drive me back. i also had my friend with me and he said while they were sitting in the waiting room this lady came to him and asked him was i having weight loss surgery. Now he told the lady no and she looked at him funny. I don't now why people feel its ok to discuss medical problems right out in public. I asked him what my daughter said he said nothing but now i don't know. I have my reasons for not telling her. And  i guess i made a mistake by taking her. I definitely haven't told many people so i m not worried about her finding out by others. only a few know. Maybe a little later i will tell her but for now we are all going to join a gym so when she sees the weight coming off she will know its because mommy is working hard atr losing it i hope. Your surgery day is almost here!!  How exciting!!! How old is your daughter?  My three older children knew about my surgery and all the details of it that they cared to know.  My three younger children were very young (2, 4 & 5 at the time of my surgery) and they knew I went to the hospital to get my tummy fixed and that was about all the details they could handle.  The 4 & 5 year old did start to comment that mommy's tummy was getting smaller.  That was about it.  Since they saw me every day, they didn't seem to notice the changes as much as someone who didn't see me every day.   They are now 5, 7 & 8 and when they see pictures of me from years ago they don't even recognize me!  They are still too young to understand all the details of the surgery - when they are older and want to know, I'll tell them. 

Hi my daughter will be 18 in Jan. but with the things i have going on with my ex i just as soon not tell her cause she is a daddies girl and tell him everything.
