JUST A REMINDER THAT THE KCMETRO SUPPORT GROUP WILL MEET ON OCT. 22, 2007 IN LEES SUMMIT.  THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO ALL, PRE-OP, POST OP, PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THE SURGERY, AND ANYONE WANTING TO COME.  WE ARE NOT A HOSPITAL BASED SUPPORT GROUP, BUT WE ARE MADE UP OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE WALKED THE JOURNEY, PEOPLE STILL ON THE JOURNEY AND PEOPLE WAITING ON THE JOURNEY. PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING !       IT IS HELD AT ATHE BAPTIST MISSION CENTER AT 400L N. E. Hi Colette, Bad news , I can't go with you to the meeting on Oct,22. I have to do round 2 of my sleep study that night They said that I have moderate to sever sleep apnea at the first test, now they want to put me on a C-pap/B-pap to see witch one works best for me. All my other testing is done, just waiting for ins approval.

We will miss you Chip, and I will on that long ride.  But getting your testing done is important.  Let me know how it comes out.  Colette

Good luck to Chip, with the sleep study. Glad you posted a reminder of the meeting, I almost forgot when it would be. I dont like missing these meetings since I started going.  Any word on Tony and how he is getting along with his toe, and back.  I gave my jeans away.....tear...tear....tear...they are TOO BIG FOR ME. I have found myself having to hem pants that are in my closet that are my...someday they will fit pants, and now they fit. I get really hungry for salty foods, any suggestions out there from anyone. I want salty foods and crunchy foods. This saturday, I am going to a surprise birthday party for my nephew, there will be people there that I havent seen for many years. Some of them will be just as surprised as my nephew. I was at the doctors this past week, the pounds are slowly dropping, but the blood pressure is perfect......                             Planning to add new pictures to my profile as soon as I can figure it out.... Thelma,    Glad to hear from you.  I was going to call you yesterday but when my phone crashed last week, I lost numbers.  Email me your number again.  Isnt it great when you have to hem pants and everything gets too big.  I told you last time, you look wonderful.    As for the crunchy and salty, I cut me up celery and peppers into small pieces and put salt on them.  that satisfies me.  Sometimes I eat some thin pretzels.  Hope all is going well with you.  Cant wait to see you again.  No, I have not heard from Tony and he has not posted either.  I will try and give him a call.  Colette
