WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

HELLLLOOOOO MO board!  I am home and have had such a nice weekend with my family and friends!

ty Jan for the Birthday wishes!  I went to KCMO on fiday and it rained most of the day SAT it was POURING all the way to the musuem...so glad we were doing that instead of an outside activity! we spent 3 hours in the Toy and Miniature Museum and I spent almost all of it on my feet. I did use my cane and ended in the chair but it was good! The kid now wants to go to the Neilson Art Gallery....I gotta shape up for that one....Ive been there a couple of times and its big!  we had Mexican for dinner I ate off the childrens menu and took most of the beans home for dinner.   we had craft night at my grams and I taught her and 2 of my aunts how to make the flowers I have been making. and they all made aand potted 2 Iris's,-- leaves and butterfly. very satisfying and fun.  when we got up this morning I let the kid drive us home. we traded spots in Harrisonville and she drove the highway....I taught her how to use cruise control.  she did ok but she did have a few moments I was nervous for us! she is taking her drivers test tomorrow. and than she will be driving my old heap of crappola.  as for me Im excited about seeing Janet and Mel and Tammy. my house is a tad rough as we have been gone all weekend and today I was in noo mood for cleaning. its my Birthday! I want to play! I was really saddened about what has transpired......with Claudette and the COF group. I belong to a group in Arkansas which is the same distance as the COF meeting and some of them share my doctor....  ALL support groups are IMPORTANT! as are support persons! the support we recieve here is important also...we now have one less voice of knowledge to learn from.  I met Claudette at the only COF meeting I attended and found her to be warm and welcoming and full of very useful information.  I found the meeting to be large and welcoming and probably is a good thing that they also go the resturaunt after!   I also met Glenna and am so glad that she will continue this much needed group! if there are issues and you no longer wish to be a part of this group....find another...no shame in that. not every group can meet every need of every person.... I will continue to be a guest member of COF but I will stay a member of the NWR WLS support group. for the same reasons I chose to go there instead of the Springfield group. the most important thing we are all here for is to support each other and anyone who comes in looking for it!. I wonder how many came in and saw this mess and was turned off and wont come back? very sad thing for them and for us as well.   well thats all I have to say about all of that...just MHO.
