citracal calcium citrate

I found these in pill form, they are with vit.D. 630 calcium citrate, and 2 aday...just wondered if there was any reason we cant have these..I am getting a little tired of the taste of the chewable...tks ...vesta

If the pill is bigger than an asprin than it will need to be crushed. B/c it is to large to get into the pouch without it getting stuck. If you cru**** you can dissolve it in your water or tea. and drink it that way.

I havent taken chewables anything since about one month post surgery, I take some pretty good size fish oil capsules too. Never have had any problems what so ever with any of them gettng stuck . Of course that could just be me.....Jan

I have to reply to this just to let you know that I swallow 2 of these at a time along with about 6 other pills and have never had one get stuck. As a NEW POST-OP, you may want to follow what you said here but she is far enough out to swallow one now. Drinking crushed pills...that's something I've never done since WLS. Just my 2 cents here.

Vesta, I, too, take the Citracal and I don't crush them or chew them. And my labs are OK so I think I'm doing OK with them. I also do the chewables but supplement with the pills. I'm obsessive about calcium. I can only do the Citracal Lemon Creme chewables. Hugs, Lana
