OT; Anyone close to Kansas City (Going to see Garth Brooks)

Anyone close to Kansas city and the new spirit Center who can tell me maybe some decent hotels that are cheap that we could stay in for just one night. Any info would help Garth is doing 9 concerts and we are going to the Nov 7th one Thanks

I visit KC a lot and I have stayed at the Econo Lodge near the airport on Prairieview Rd. I usually can get a room for $45. It's considered a "2 star" but it's cheap and clean. A little more worse for wear is the Motel 6 on 87th Street in southeast KC-- its under $40 -- but more ran down and not as clean. If you go there you might wanna bring your own sheets and pillows fyi! Have a great time at the concert!

I think it is wonderful that you are coming to Kansas City for the Garth Concert.  I am going also.. We are going on the 14th and I have 10th row seats.. How did you do?  We have lots of Motels in the Kansas City area.   I will tell you that it will probably be hard to get a motel close to the Sprint Center. But let me know how much you want to spend and I might be able to point you in the right direction it is according to how much you want to spend.  You will probabably be coming up on I-35 so one of the motels that I would stay in that may be less than 100.00 is the Drury INN.. you can get reservations at www.druryinn.com.  It is on Shawnee Mission Parkway and 35 highway. So even though it is about 15 minutes from downtown.. It will be clean and the nice and it will be on your way to and From the sprint center.  Hope this helps.. I know these motels very well because my father oversaw the building of these motels.
