Morning Sheila
I'm a huge animal lover as well, and I hit and killed a cat the other morning. I felt horrid about it; but ya know. If the owners truly loved their animal - they would have had it inside! It was an accident Sheila. So don't worry about it. {{{hugs}}}
My dad has a hiatal hernia, and my grandmother had one as well. It can be quite painful and the cause of quite a bit of problems. Here's the link to WebMD on the subject of Hiatal Hernias.

sorry about your hitting the dog i know that really bothered you but it was an accident and wasnt your fault.
I see you have already gotten good answers about the hernia if Dr. H. said it shouldnt be a problem then i wouldnt worry about it. I imagine more than one of us that have had the surgery have had the same problems. He is more interested in ulcers than anything when doing the scope. Wont be too long now 3 weeks wow and just think back a few months ago you were wondering if it would happen at all. love and hugs
