Two Days Away & I am AT GOAL!!

I am two days away from my 1 year Surgiversary, and I hit goal today.  Now for me, I am 5'8" and to be out of danger range for any time of Diabetes recurrence, I needed to be at 170.

This is a BMI of 26.  I can not believe what the difference a year makes.  Last year I was a size 26!!!

I recently bought a pair of pants and a cable knit sweater. Pants were size 8, and the sweater is a MEDIUM.  I have absolutely NO fall/winter shoes to wear.  My feet shrank from a 8.5-9 Wide to a 6-7...CAN you believe that?  I didn't know feet did that too....

I have started dating a NOTHER guy, none seem to enthuse me after about the 3rd date, and this one is at the 5th or 6th date mark...so we'll see.  He's smaller than any man I've ever went out with, he and I are within a couple pounds of being the same weight!  And he's only about an inch or two taller than I am....But, oddly enough, I like that he is "my size" maybe he will keep me in check, so I won't fear the "Laurel and Hardy thing" happening...LOL

Sherr: Congratulations on being at your goal weight!!  I see your goal weight is 170, so is mine!  I am about 6 1/2 months out and am 14 lbs away from that goal.  Seems like the scale moves very slowly as of late.  Did that happen to you? Debbie:  WOW, you did an amazing job!!!  Only 6.5 months out, it took me all of 12 to get there!  It moves VERY slowly, at least for me.   I was at 196 in January, and it's taken this long to lose 26 more.  Congrats again!! Sherr
