What do you think?-WW and Exercise Memberships

I am thinking about going back to weigh****chers. I am unsure. I am still in the research phase. I think the weekly weigh in maybe would help me? I know I would have to follow my Drs diet not really there's.

The other thing I thought I might do is join the gym at my sons soccer club. He practices once a week and plays once a week. I thought we could exercise as a family while he practices and then work out before or after his game each week and then use the pool. Both are an added expense. I just want to set myself up to be successful. I am almost a month out.

Do any of you belong to a gym? Do any of you go to weigh****cher meetings?

Bret, I had RNY so I'm not an expert on the band.  I do know you can eat more things than we can but I don't think WW would hurt.  However, it is quite a lot to pay for weighing in accountability.  Is there another Bandster in your area that you could meet with weekly?  Or perhaps you could weigh in at the health club.  I belong to St. John's gym here in Springfield and go twice a week in Nixa and twice a week in Springfield.  I only weigh once a week - at home on Saturday AM.  That way I don't feel like I'm a slave to the scale.  I'm basically at goal so I may start weighing oftener so I don't gain and not realize it.  Good luck, whatever you decide.  I do think the exercise really helps weight loss.  I did a six months physician monitored diet and exercise program before surgery and discovered that walking is my preferred form of exercise and have kept it up. Hugs. Lana

"WLS is about making better choices, a healthier lifestyle and seeing how little you can eat.  Portion control is the key to all weight loss surgeries.  Bottom line - it isn't how much you can eat - it is how little you can eat."
