Hi Everyone! I have not been here in a very long time but I wanted to say hello. I am about six months post op and I find myself struggling. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get myself back on track and stay focused on my ultimate goal which is a happier healthier me. thanks for your help! Sarah

Sarah, We need a little more information.  Which surgery did you have?  Have you been faithful to protein first, lots of water and no grazing?  Have you discussed your problem with Dr. Edwards or the NUT?  The only recommendation I have is go back to basics, lean protein, 64 or more ounces of water/Crystal Light, etc., only carbs from fruit and veggies, no white sugar, flour, bread, rice or pasta, and write down everything, I mean everything, you eat and drink.  You may be surprised at the little "extra" things you are eating.  How much have you lost?  I just don't have enough info to give you any more tips.  But, I'll be praying for you to get it together!!! Hugs, Lana

Lana,  Thank you so much for replying. I had the Lap Band. I have not discussed my problem with Dr. Edwards yet because I think it is more of a Me thing. I think you are right and I need to get back to the basics. I have not been very faithful with writing things down. I do try to be faithful with my water because I find that I just don't feel right when I do not drink enough****er. I have been having issues with grazing at work and maybe I am garzing more than I think I have been. I have lost approximately 52 to 55 pounds depends on the day and where I am weighing.  Thank your for suggestions and I can always use prayers. Always, Sarah

Sarah, Sounds as if you are on the right track and know what you need to do.  Maybe you need a fill too.  I really don't know much about the band but I want to learn so that I can help others.  Keep in touch. Hugs, Lana
