I am alive....

Hey everyone!  Boy, do I ever miss you guys!  But, I'm telling you, I am finding it time to do ANYTHING nowadays..... School is going well, I made an A on my FIRST nursing test....YAHOO!!  Class average was a very low B, so I was very excited about my A.  I have SO much homework to do this weekend...I should be doing some now, but I just had to update you guys!  There's just SO much to do and remember...it's insane.  I have another test in my nursing class on Monday and then a test on Tuesday in my bible class...fun fun I got a job finally!  I am a shift leader at Sonic...and before you all freak out...honestly, it doesn't tempt me.  If anything, working around the food for 8-9 hr shifts just makes me SO NAUSEATED!!  It's bad....I had 2 bites of a chicken strip the other day b/c I was feeling dizzy...but that was enough...didn't make me sick, but I sure didn't want any more....just needed something to take the dizziness away....So far, I'm only a part time worker...but they just fired like 3 people in 2 days...so the manager promised me some more hours this upcoming week...yipeee!!!!  Hours=money...and money=bills paid....which is good :-) Other than school and work, Jon is doing good....we're both just working, and trying to keep up w/ the housework...he's been a dear....been helping me out SO much lately!  We're also doing our darndest to get the last of our boxes unpacked....but it's sloooooow moving for sure!  We're going out to eat either tomorrow night or Sunday night....we've just GOT to do something together away from the house.....and we might go play a game of pool or two...we'll see.... Also, in case you didn't notice my ticker yet.....190 baby!!!   51 lbs gone....thank the Lord!  I'm finding more and more clothes that don't fit too well anymore....and I need to buy some new panties ASAP...mine are literally FALLING off of me.....yipeeeeee!! I miss you all so much, and I'm so sorry that I haven't been around and I really have no clue what's going on in each of your lives but I still pray for each and every one of you every single day....I love you guys and without you I wouldn't be where I am today!  Thanks for everything. love and hugs Rianne

So glad to see you come back and let us know you are still alive. lol. wow on the weight loss. good going. ...the nursing classes are something else arent they ? massive amount of knowledge being pushed into the heads of future nurses and believe it you wont remember half of it after you take that test for your lic. becasue most of what they teach you isnt practial or even useful stuff. you really learn most of what you need to know on the floor working. lol  Well all except the paper work and how to write stuff up lol.  sure would love to see you get to come to a COF meeting ...do you think you will be able to come to the next one.? cant wait to see you soon.   Jan

I checked my schedule...and as far as I know so far, I will be able to come to the Sept mtg...coming up soon!  I called mom to see if she could come but she has a meeting to go to then for work...darn darn darn....she'll  try for Oct though she said. Oh yeah....massive amounts of knowledge are killing me!!  LOL  I barely remember some of the stuff 5 mins after I read it....much less after the test for it!  It's crazy, but as my mom says "there is life after nursing school"  I just gotta make it that 2 yrs first!!  ha ha How's your new nsg job going??

going back to nursing is totally different now. I think since i dont have to work to eat. lol that i no longer have that pressure to work so it makes it more fun than work, does that make sense?

So your mother is a nurse also? I have a daughter who is a nurse and her daughter is a nurse also. lol   Most anxious to meet your mother. Hopefully she can come with you to a COF meeting.  glad that you will be able to come to the one on the 24th this monh.   

Well, it's a good thing that you are able to enjoy it more now!  That takes all the pressure off, and also allows your patients to have more fun as well :-) Yup, my mom is an RN...her week job is with the American Heart Association, on nights she teaches EMT classes, and on the weekends she works in the ER....she works too much!!

Rianne,  So good to see your lovely face on the board.  Good for you on your test.  You're a smart cookie so I know you'll do great. WOO HOO on the weight lost!!!  Just think, you'll never have to see those pounds again.  Isn't it amazing how food slowly loses its attraction.  Smaller clothes and a healthier body is what is attractive now. I am alive too! I bet nursing school is kicking your butt. It would mine. Wish I was in nursing school right now but all well.  190lbs huh? That is awesome!!  Sonic?  Yea that would just make me feel iky! Love ya!

YAY!!  I'm glad you're alive...how's the moving in going??? I just noticed that our BMI's are the same :-D  that's fun!!  It's kicking my butt, but it's soooo enjoyable...I'm really liking it. 84 lbs lost is absolutely amazing!  You rock... It's really not that bad....I've worked there for 4 yrs before so it's an EASY job that I can do without thinking....:-) *hugs*  I looooove you too!
