Bob McQueen - Wednesday 9/5 Update

Kansas Gal posted this evening as well with a report on Bob from her visit yesterday....here's an update from this evening: I received a call from Lori McQueen at 7:52pm Central this evening (Wed, 9/5)... Bob is still in CRITICAL condition and remains in a drug-induced coma.  Today the surgeons performed a minor procedure to reinsert an NG tube and  also check for leaks - none were found.  His bronchial tube was removed and was replaced with a tracheal tube...this is not a reason for concern, the doctors felt it would be easier on Bob.  Lori sounded optimistic and felt things were going well today. More news when/if I receive... Keep the prayers and well-wishes heading Bob and Lori's way....our friend has been fighting this battle for 16 days now...he needs all the help he can get here on earth and from above!
