I just spoke to Steve, Barbster's husband and he had finished talking to Dr. Edwards who said the surgery was completely uneventful and successful.  Barb is still in recovery but she'll be coming to her room soon and I'll post more when I hear from her again.  Thanks for all your support and prayers. Hugs, Lana

ahhh, I know who this is!!  Hi!   All went well at the surgery center.  Dr. Edwards gave me a big hug prior and that felt great.      Just healing now, taking it slow but all systems go.   No nausea, no vomiting and minimal pain. I'll be back in your sandbox on Sept 11, 8-ish.........so I have 9 days to put together a B&W ensemble you haven't seen!   Hugs back to you!    barb                                          Hurrah! At last I'm 50!

Thanks to you all for the encouragement and kind words, especially Lana who has kept track of my progress this past month.   I feel like I'm doing great.....  No nausea or vomiting at all.   Ambulating is bit easier each day. No shoulder or back pain either.  Tummy feels like the CO2 pressure is alive and well in my abdomen.   However, it just blends in with the incision tenderness so that makes it easy to tolerate. Rarely hungry but am sipping water and whatever my sweetie brings me.   Made my own creamed soup today, what a milestone! I'm vertical now, but soon to be horizontal again. Thank you each for writing and caring.   So sweet of you.  the excitement never ends    barb
