MIA Marilyn B reporting in!

Hello Missouri Board Friends,

 

It has been a while since I posted to the forum – glad to see it has been updated like the others!  I do manage to put weekly blogs on my page if you want to check it out.

 

It is exciting to see how many people are new and how well everyone is doing!  I don’t see any word on Julia though – I have e-mailed her several times and gotten no response.  Does anyone have word?

 

Things have been going well for me.  Absolutely no regrets!  I am able to eat just about everything thing that I should.  Like everyone finds out some days something agrees and the next time you try it - it doesn’t.  But life is good.

 

I have lost 68.5 pounds total since before my surgery.  I have gone from a size 22 to a loose 14.  I just bought a swim suit last night for our vacation to Florida in June.  I’m still not completely happy with that whole look, but it is better than last summer by far.  I know that by the end of summer it will be even better.

 

I thank God for the success that this surgery has afforded me.  Blessing to you all and well wishes for continued success and good health!!

Hi Marilyn, Glad to meet you-and CONGRATS on the weight loss!! You look fantastic and so pleased to hear its going well for you~I hope you will stay around and post more often!! We do have a lot of newbies-but we miss a lot that are gone now- (wiping tear away)  Anyway-also-congrats on the new swimsuit-and the size! What an accomplishment!  Take care, Janet

About time you showed up here girl...lol...I went to see Julia when I had my appointment and she is ok , she hasnt got back on the internet yet and she has moved into town, I have her add. if you ever want it...glad you are doing good, I feel great, I have lost 71 pds. and can walk good now, it seems so strange to be able to do things I hadnt done in years and I still have about 65 pds to lose. I am so proud off you being in a 14, that is a great size to be in...love ya ...Vesta

I have lost 831/2 pounds now. am in size 10/12s and feel great. Sure hope you stay around for a while this time. OK???? Miss all our old buddies.    Have you seen the post about our reunion in Branson West this Sept? Janet is suppose to post all the details in another day or so . Hope you get to come.
