WLS " the easy way out"

I AM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!!!!  IF ONLY IT WAS THAT EASY.  IF IT WAS THE EASY WAY OUT WE WOULDN'T SPEND MONTHS OR POSSIBLY YEARS TRYING TO MAKE THE DECISION TO GO DOWN THE ROAD OF WLS. AND TO THEN GO THROUGH ALL THE TESTING, DR APPOINTMENTS AND DEALING WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANYS, JUST TO BE DENIED AND THEN TO HAVE TO FIGHT THAT TOO?  SURE IT IS THE EASY WAY OUT!!!!!!!  WHATEVER!!!   SORRY,  I AM A LITTLE ANGRY WITH THE WHOLE INSURANCE PROCESS, SO I AM VENTING A LITTLE.  ANY WAY, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE SAID.  SORRY AGAIN FOR THE RANTING.... I honestly feel very bad for people when they are naive enough to say that WLS is an "easy way out".  If they think that someone losing weight is miraculous because they have pre-made meals delivered to their door, then I would love to see a follow-up in 5 years to see if she is maintaining her weight.  In fact, from my experience, not only will she not be maintaining, but she will be twice as big as when she started.  Not to be negative, but it infuriates me when people make a judgement call on something that they know nothing about. Honestly, I wish that all magazines would quit posting articles like that.  If people lose their weight on their own, more power to them, but DO NOT make it out to be that anyone who has lost weight any other way has done it the "easy way"! Maybe in the near future we will see tactless articles like that disappear, but then again, how are they going to make their money?  Too bad they can't make their money by showing how beautiful women are in all shapes and sizes!

E~~~ Amen Sister and again I say AMEN!!!! You know how I feel about people who think WLS is the easy way out....and also like I said earlier this month....articles that are written that make obese people to blame for every little thing that is health related that goes wrong....i.e., the Duke University article.  I didn't ask to be born with all these fat gene's in my life and you know how hard I have fought this illness..... I am so sick and tired of people assuming things about me by looking at the outside of me and not knowing anything about me as a person.... Furthermore, if I could afford 1400 a month for food, I ould spend 1/4 of that amount ...ha ha ha because that is all I could eat and hire and personal trainer to come to my home and encourage me with the rest of the money.  RANT...RANT...RANT.....you know I could go on for hours..... B

Seems there is always someone who has to run their mouth about someone else!!!!!!!! I would say since they think it is such an easy way out they probably don't know their ass from a hole in the ground!!!! I would love for someone to say that to me right about now....I would unleash my cheese cake nicoteen deprived attitude on them!!!!!!  I think anyone that is going to pick a subject to run their mouth on they should have the facts.....If they have not been thur any part of the process for WLS then they do not have enough facts to be downing anyone.....If you aint been there and done that ....KEEP YOU D**N MOUTH SHUT!!!! Yeeeee Hawwwwwww I feel better hehehehheheheheh.... Dang now I'm not only a looser....I'm easy too ...LMBO!!!! Love you guys.....Nite
