How long does the pain last after surgery?

Hi Tara~ Thanks. I wonder if the leak issue left you with no energy? I hope I have energy. I think I am having a drain. I am really not picky as long as it is a life saving tool. Just wondering did you have RNY and if so how much weight did you lose your first month? Thank you, Cheryl

Yes I had the RNY on Feb 19, I had lost 18 before surgery and now have lost total of 65. My first month does not count....I had nothing by mouth for 3 weeks after they found my leak. So I had a PICC line in me that delivered high calorie nutrition to aid in my healing, needless to say I did not loose anything my first 3 weeks, but when I was well....boy did it ever start dropping off fast. You will love it. I feel like a new person. My energy noe is more than I have had for 10 years. It is so nice!!! Hugs, Tara
