VISITING DAY

He had been looking forward to this moment all day long. After six days of laboring, it had finally arrived -VISITING DAY! The man with the keys arrived early to swing open the large, heavy doors. The cold gray hall sprang to life in the warm glow of the candles. He could hardly control his emotions. The families began to arrive. He peers from the corner of the big room looking for his loved ones. He lives for these weekends; he lives for these visits. As the cars continue, he watches intently. Then, they are finally all seated, those for whom he would do anything. They embrace, eat a light lunch, and reminisce how things used to be. At one point, they break into singing with interruptions of laughter and applause. But, all too soon, it is over. A tear comes to his eye as they all depart. The man with the big keys closes the big doors. He hears the key turn in the lock marking the end of a special day. There he stands alone, again. He knows that most of his visitors will not contact him again until next week. As the last car pulls away from the parking lot, Jesus retreats into loneliness as He waits until next Sunday morning

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right..
Forget about the one's who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.

If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy,

they just promised it would be worth it.

Thank you Brenda...it's good to be back! I was rathered worried myself but I'm rested now and feeling better. Maybe I should copy n paste the second post I made to Janet  to Jan's "What's Happening" post! That way, anyone that might still be worried will know what went on....Thanks again, Deb M
