frustrated

Hey everyone-thanks for the responses the questions I have posted. IK am a newbie. I have learned so much just from reading all of your posts.  So I went to a seminar, got all my labs done, my Dr. agreed to write a letter, insurance is ok, psychologist was seen and said she would write my letter. I completed this huge packet and then my Dr. says oh you should go to this other hospital instead of the one you attended the seminar for. I did not realize the seminars were hospital specific. My Dr. is great and I trust her judgement. I called the other hospital today and I have to start over. I have to attend another seminar and complete all the paperwork again. The next seminar is a month away at that hospital. So I am trying to be patient. I know my Dr. wants me to be safe and well cared for. I guess when you decide to change your life and you research and read and question and think...and then you finally decide to go for it-you want to just go! Howdy & Welcome the board!!!  So sorry things turned out the way they have for you....I never really thougth about it being like that but I guess it is becasue not all doctors go about things the same with the WLS....They all have different requests, time periods and etc  on each thing.... A month is not all that long compared to some of the time limits some on here have on other things.....At least you will have most all of your other stuff out of the way and wont have as much testing and all to do ....That some times can take a lot of time just for those things.....
