Poll for Columbia Patients...

I'm taking an informal poll of Columbia patients to see who got to go to the Option B class before their final pre-surgery tests. I know of one person who did and wonder if there are others, because when I ask to be scheduled they said they don't do that...which I already know is untrue...so if your going thru columbia and you got scheduled for the option b class before you finished the lasts of the pre-surgery tests (in most cases its the endoscope) please post here...as I'm going to call them (yet again) next week and want to be able to say "i know of x number of cases where you DID schedule the class before the tests" I'm very close and getting more impatient by the day....

Kim, Good for you. Getting your information in order before you call is important. They cannot dispute the numbers you know are correct. Are you coming to the Circle of Friends group meeting next Monday night at the Firestation? I really recommend it!! Hugs and love, Lana

Kim I hate to say it but they would not schadual me for my option B class tell everything else was done. This my be a new rule in place I don't know but I know it is true. None the less I got schadualed for my class and will meet with the anastecia and my surgeon privatly for my last pre-op appointments the same day. I also got a date before the class because they had to call to reschadual my class so they schadualed everything else then too. My class got moved from Monday to Tuesday because someone who needed to be there couldn't be. But I opted out for the tuesday class and I am going on Thursday because they could do everything else that day to. I hope this all makes since. Any questions please feel free to ask. I know I was getting impationt too! Once I stoped being impationt everything feel into place. Best of luck!

Kim, It may be an insurance requirement. I know all insurance companies are different with different requirements. Might want to check on that. Try to be patient! I will get here before you know it! Pam

wow...did everyone here have the endoscope too? I did get scheduled for the cardiac and endoscope on the same day June 12th and my surgeon (Dr. Ramaswamy) is doing the scope, so maybe I will get more info from her then on how long before the big day.... side note: Hiya Pam I see your here in Springfield too, and you just had your surgery...woohooo so how are you doing tell me allllll about it..lol feel free to email me thanks all kim
