I'm Approved!!!! Hooray!!!

Just talked to insurance, I am approved!! I hadn't been that worried about not getting approved so I was really amazed at exactly how EXCITED I feel right now....I want to shout it from rooftops I've called all my people and no one is home and I'm about to burst...I told my kids, but they just stared at me with the faces that only a 2yr and 3yr old can make....so ..hey everyone I GOT APPROVED!!! OOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! kim

Kim how wonderful that you got approved. I had to laugh at the visual of you telling your babies. We would love to see you at the Circle of Friends meeting this monday at 6:30 at 2620 Battlefield in Springfield. Please come you will need all the support you can get and we arent a bad bunch if i do say so myself. LOL We have a great support leader and i promise you , you wont feel out of place . Jan

WoooooHoooooo KIM! I know how you are feeling about now....It's only been a few months since I got my letter telling me I had been aproved. And I remember how exciting it was.....You think you are excited now....wait till you get the call about your surgery date!!!!!!! I was so excited I didn't know how to feel so I ended up setting her craying my eyes out!!!!!!! Then I fianlly started yelling...I called every single person I knew !!! Hi Kim, Congrats to you! I'm so excited for you and I know exactly how you are feeling (feeling like you are going to burst *L*). I felt the exact same way and NO ONE WAS HOME FOR ME TO TELL EITHER *L*. So I stalked my dh's work phone and he finally called me back and he was soooo excited for me to. Well fast forward to today....Life is GRAND! I am in my 10 mo and feel like a new person. You get ready, as you are about to have the ride of your life!

Kim, WOOHOO!!! I'm so glad for you. When I got my approval I was afraid to tell anyone for a few hours - felt like it might be grabbed away from me if I got too excited. But it wasn't and now I'm 20 weeks and 56 pounds from surgery and I feel great. I do hope you can come to one of our support group meetings. We have so much fun and learn so much good information for before, during and after surgery. Hugs and love to you, Lana

Hey Kim! I just got approved not to long ago too. I am goign through Columbia too. Are you going the Option B pre-op class? They wont schadual you for it if so tell they have the hard copy of your approval. I am going to the class on the 21st. Maybe I will see you there.

I am going thru Columbia I have Dr Ramaswamy how about you? And I called them yesterday and they never called back, I left a message saying I was approved and wanted to schedule my lasts tests (an endoscope and cardiac stress test) and the Option B but they didn't call back....guess I'll call again today..I wonder how long it takes between insurance approving and the hard copy in the office....ack..hurry up and wait some more...yesterday after getting the approval I felt so much closer..but it then became pretty anticlimatic...but at least I am one step closer.
