WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

As good as yesterday was , today was just as bad as that. Well not the day exactly but I feel bad. Don't know why either. Unless I just way overdid it yesterday . I have slept most of the day and am ready to go to bed again right now. So I don't have anything to report on what I did or didn't do today. Will try to do the recap: TAMMY: I know what you mean about the house training a puppy , not a fun thing to do at all. I guess we will learn tho. Oh congratulations on the new ,almost, car. That is great that you got something else. Wow not long now till surgery is it. Isnt it the 4th of June? I know you are getting anxious but it wont be long now. DEANNA: What kind of surgeries have you had? Plastics? Well the gentleman sounds interesting. Take care. I know that all of us met on the internet but that doesn't mean that there aren't mean people out there too tho. I hope it works out very well for you tho, you deserve some happiness too. So happy for you that you are still losing weight that is so good. Proud of you. DEBBIE M.: So glad that you are back on the boards and feeling better. Hope you continue to feel better each and every day. Glad your son came and got the mama and babies and took care of them. Sorry your other son and his girlfriend aren't getting along well. A new relationship is hard enough without adding pregnancy into the mix. Besides there being another person now for them to think about. It is just hard. SHERR: OK!!!! Now how was this date ? you have had two with him is there to be more? Did you look really cute when you met him? If you know of an easy way to house train a puppy let me know. I hate doing it. JANET: No the puppy wont be an outside dog , only when we are out there will she be out. Guess where she is right now sleeping? In our bed with Joe. She was crying tonight and we couldn't get her to stop any other way. Sort of like a crying baby do what you have to to get them settled down. Im sure the gas prices will go back down after the summer. They always do. Thanks for thinking about me yesterday. I was hoping and praying that all the other mothers on here were having as good of a day as I was. No I haven't gotten to any stores yet to see about the molds. So it takes a good 24 hours to set up and cure before you can remove it? If I have a lot to do them at once I would need several right? Debbie said that you could use old cake pans etc. What about the alum. Throw away cake pans or would they be too flimsy? Yes if you would bring those two I can get two done at a time. That would work too. Im trying to hurry because I am about to fall asleep I may have to go ahead and go to bed and hope I wake up during the night so I can fini**** Well it is 6:00am now and yeah I had to go to bed , I slept all night long don't know what is wrong with me, maybe not enough water in the last two days. I will hydrate today and see if I feel better. Now to finish up the recap: Janet those are called Shephards Hooks. The metal poles you hang flowers on. I use them for bird feeders and hummingbird feeders too. I cried when I read the card that your son gave you for Mothers Day that is so great. Now you know how he really feels about you even tho day to day it isnt shown. Cherish that card in fact put it on your ref. that is special. That is what Mothers day is all about. Be sure and post all the pictures of your fun. Ricki: the picnic is on June 19th in the afternoon. At Liberty park. As close to the Rose garden as we can get tables. There will probably be some of them gathering around noon. My appointment with Doctor H. is at 1:30 so I wont be there till a little after that probably around 2 . Hope you get to come. Cant wait to meet you in person. Just bring you what ever you can eat if you want to eat with us. Everyone is bringing what ever they want for themselves. RACHAEL; Sure hope you get to this meeting on the 21st of the Circle of Friends. Would be nice to meet you. Glad you had a great Mothers day too. Seems most all of us had a wonderful day. What is this with everyone getting tattoos? Im glad I didn't have one anywhere as saggy as my skin is now it really would have been a pretty looking think.LOL. Wow your son will be gone all summer wont he? Who lives is Neb. That he will be with that long? MELISSA: Im glad you got to spend Mothers day with your adopted family. That is great. Those beans sound really good . what kind of beans were they? Yeah the shots in the knees are sort of gross aren't they ? I have to go back again this Thursday and then next Thursday for the last in the series of three of the synvisk shots in both of my knees. They didn't bother me quite as bad this time ,last Thursday, as they did 6 months ago. And I got relief right away this time. Just hope they will last for a couple of years doing this so I don't have to have an operation on both of them. Oh what happened to your pool you had last year? Did you sell it? I hope that by next year I can get a bigger one for us . would like to get one that stays up all the time anyway. That is an all day job putting up this one. I have got to learn how to test the thing too. LANA: Wow you had a great weekend it seems, class reunion and Mothers day too. That was really neat. Yeah I remember when we had a farm when I was young we always had lots of cats in the barn. Never had any mice either. All we ever fed them tho was big pans of milk when we went to the barn to milk the cows. I guess they stayed so fat from all the mice and things they caught and ate. Yeah I am anxious for the reunion too. I hope everyone can come when we have it. I too think after Labor day will be great time. I still cant eat but maybe 2 bites of steak and any more it wants to come back on me. Just cant get it down, it is too dense I guess. We love you too girl. Anxious to see everyone again on the 21st. Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Jan, I am so sorry you are so tired-maybe your just playing catch up from Sunday and all the activity-which I know you are active every day-but chasing little ones around seems to wear me out more than my walking or whatever-LOL....I will say some prayers for you that you feel better SOON!! Jon is trying to come down with something too-and yesterday I didnt do much either-I was completely wiped out too-and my back and knees were screaming at me ALL DAY LONG! ARGH! I think Jons is from being outside while the property is getting brush hogged and mowed-he is coughing, has the runny nose and the sneezes....So-since this happened last time when they were all out mowing and weed eating-I am going to make him stay inside or wear a mask over his nose and mouth~he did say yesterday that his ear was hurting, so say a prayer he doesnt get an ear infection! Jan-I will bring you my stepping stone molds on Monday-I am not sure about using pan pans, because you do have to work them out-but I have never tried-so it may work-I was thinking IF that worked, that would be cool, because I have cake pans that are shaped like a train engine and teddy bear-that would be cute. I do think it would be easier with the tin pans since they are more flexible-I dont know-if someone tries it with a real pan and it works, I may try it myself! LOL...anyhow-I will bring them to the meeting Monday for you. Yes, they should set up for 24 hrs before being removed from the mold- They can be decorated usually about 1/2 hr after you put the concrete mix in it. Today is my oldest daughters 21st birthday-so I called her and woke her up at 6:15 so she could see it on the morning show-Good Morning Four States-in which I called her Magoo-the nickname Mike gave her when we were dating. I really hope to spend a little time with her today-Mel and I were going to kidnap her today, but she has court at 5 pm and 2 finals at college before that-so dont think we will be able to do it today, so we are shooting for tomorrow~She graduates on Saturday too-I have to go and raid my closet and try on some more stuff and see if I can find a blouse from Sug that will wrap around my "girls" that I can wear to graduation-I already have the pants picked out I want to wear, they are rayon or slinky-however you describe them, black with pink pin stripes-they look awesome, but the blouse that goes with it really well AND fits-its long sleeved sweater type and it will make me too freaking hot-so must have something else-if all else fails-I will raid Mels pile of stuff thats too big for her and see if there is something there I can wear for the day! Yes, Jan-the card from Darrel, its hanging off my lattice right inside the house-right above my computer monitor where I put all my cards from friends and family-I have some of the neatest stuff, and it gives me a reminder every time I am sitting here that I am loved-and I am blessed! That card means the world to me-and know what? He has always called his mother every Mothers Day that he has chosen not to go over there or she doesnt come and get him-and this year he didnt ask-(which I didnt ask him either-because she lied to him about coming to get him on Friday-saying his sister had to work and couldnt drive-but she wasnt at work-we called there Friday-so he is sick of her lies as well) I dont feel sorry for her and I hope that she shows her ugly head her in the next couple of weeks-Im ready to confront her and tell her what I think of her) The famous beans-well, I WILL make a big batch for the reunion, because post op people can eat them AND so can all our spouses etc who havent had the surgery-so they will hopefully be a hit with everyone! Im pretty excited about that. I will just bring everything and put it in my slow cooker-and wa~la! Well, not that easy-put I will prep everything else at home and just get it together there. Yes-the 2 things I got are called Shepherd hooks-I love them! I have our petunias and marigolds hanging off of one-and I thought I would have to go get 2 more since the other hanging plants I have are too heavy-but I think I will hang one bird feeder and one hummingbird feeder from the other one~Thanks for the idea!! I have been saving the big cans I get our applesauce and beans in as well-so I can use those to paint and get the morning glories and cardinal climbers re-potted. I am not screwing them to the privacy fence, we are going to dig down just a bit and put them on the ground-and let them climb up the privacy fence.....Im so happy with that tip. We may have to start over with some of the little seedlings we bought-as we had them out on the sidewalk-and when we got the really hard rains for 3-4 days in a row-I never moved them under the porch-and in the smaller starter packs-there is nothing growing I think that it rained so hard it knocked them all out of the little holders-because in the bigger holders that are big and deeper-they are coming up rather well. Will see. But those are mostly more marigolds and then 2 packets of morning glories. **Rachael-LOVED THE TATTOO....Mel showed me the picture~How cool is that? Where is it? On your back or leg? IF you dont come to the meeting-I am going to hire someone to kidnap you for Junes-its been way too long that we have been talking about it-we want to meet you-dang it (jumping up and down and crying like a baby throwing a tantrum) COME AND PLAY WITH US-LOL LOL!! PLEASE..... **Deb-sweetheart- FEEL BETTER- what did your PCP say? Im worried about you. I want you to feel better. Please let me know when you get your mail from me. I sent it last Tues-of course it was later in the day when I got to the Diamond Post Office-about 2:45 or so-but it should be there today! Holy crap, I didnt send it priority, but you would think I was shipping a refridgerator box of stuff-not an envelope with paper in it=LOL....That protein you posted about yesterday-do you have a Food 4 Less around you? I am asking because thats where I get mine at-and the 5# tubs there are less than $30. The 2# tubs are $!5.....so, if you have one there-get it from them and save some cash. I know our health food store down the street-sells the same thing for $55 for the 5# tub-nope, think I will stick with Food 4 Less! **Lana-I am so glad you had fun at your reunion and with your daughter. I bet they loved you at the reunion as much as we do! Cant wait to see you on Monday and I hope you had the best Mothers Day. I can eat steak too, when its cooked right, and really really tender and cut very thin! Never thought I would be able to eat that again since I have heard so many horror stories! Maybe one day I can get to Springfireld on the weekend and we can all go to lunch or something-Salvation Army or something-that would be so fun-although, I bet you have a lot of people asking-so maybe you could squeeze me in? I dont really have many plans today-I was going to do something with Megan-but will have to see how court goes and how long it takes-since her last name is "M" that means she is further down the line and the little po-dunk town she lives in, they only have court ONCE a month, at 5 pm (bring in judge from other county) AND all of their revenue is off tickets-so I dont think they are going to let her off-she called and asked for an extension, but the crabby ol hag said no....whatever-never heard of that before. Oh well-I hope she can fight it and win, because without a radar gun, that officer couldnt really tell how fast she was going....we ALL slow down in Granby (even me-lol) because they just LOVE to pull you over there.... Steph has a concert at her school tonite-but I dont know if I will be able to go because I dont think I can walk or climb up the bleachers or sit for that long on them with my back hurting the way it is now! I know she will understand-but I would still like to go. I will be posting very soon on the reunion-have some really good possibilities and am waiting now for just 2 more emails....I am hoping to get responses by this Friday at least. Im excited. Okay, so last night was the "Real" date, I guess I passed the "test" on Sunday night...lol... (((I AM JUST JOKING))))) So, I drove to his town and found his house, which is FANTASTIC, should I care that it is? Is that shallow? It's one of the new houses in a subdivision I looked at last year, when I was house hunting, but realized QUICKLY that subdivision was soooo OUTTA my price Range...LOL....about 4 times out...LOL And, to his credit, he has even landscaped, with petunias and shrubs, and those great lantern lights on poles.... Sooo, anyway....I go inside and he asks if I want a drink, but to MY HORROR, I realize he is a PEPSI House, so I whip out my Coke Zero outta my purse, and ask for a glass of ice. We sat and talked and watch the news, then Entertainment tonight, and I "Wooed" him with my brain full of useless celebrity knowledge, and other worthless trivia....then we took our drinks out onto the patio and sat on a park bench and talked some more, really for about 2 hours.... Sweet right? So, then we went to dinner and that was nice too.....we talked and he ate, and I poked around in my salad.... I barely ate any of it, but didn't know if it was a bad move to ask for a "To Go" box, so I didn't....which bothers me, because I am NOW quite hungry....LOL We went back to his house and I sat in this oversized chair and he asked if he could sit with me, we watched the Sopranos ((which he has no****ched before))) and I used to LOVE to watch in on HBO, but would have never admitted to watching.... LOL Again, impressing him because I could tell him who was "About to get whacked" LOL He was very gentlemanly, and is a great kisser. He actually got to taste the edible Marshmallow glitter dust...NOT in any crude or un-mentionable spots.... Sorry, I am a "lame-o".... He asked if he could see me again, when I went to leave.... My mom asked me this morning what I thought, but with the old bad luck I had with men, I told her to ask me in a year. She said, "NO! I am going to ask you every time you see this guy!" My sweet mother....she called around 10:00 p.m. to check on me, but I'd left my cell in my purse in the car, so when I was leaving his town I talked to her until I stopped for a cup of coffee to keep me away.... My life is absolutely lovely right now. S

Hello Missouri, Yesterday was great and today is soooooo quiet here at school. It's just finals and the campus is so dead I think everyone has gone home already. I use summer to catch up on all the stuff I have piled up around my office and I love it at first, then get bored with no students here. We are making some teaching assignment changes in the next few weeks so that will be fun for me. I love new challenges. Janet, I would love to get together on a weekend for lunch or whatever. I miss you guys when I have to go a whole month without seeing you. I am so excited about the reunion - we will have a huge blast. I did have a great time in North Missouri - didn't get to spend as much time with my BFFL, Carol, but we'll get together another time when there aren't so many obligations. Now, I'm starting to look forward to our vacation starting June 15 through June 24. We are going to Virginia to tour Civil War Battlefields and sites and since we are both such history nuts it is a great plan for us. I just love to go anywhere at anytime. I am an idiot about seeing new things and places. Got some new pants at Penneys on sale. Am now pretty nearly always in a size 11. I can't remember when I wore lower than a 13 but I do think in this age of stretch added to almost everything I am wearing smaller sizes than I did 40 years ago at this same weight. Incidentally, I weighed this past weekend and I'm at 164. That's down eighty-two pounds since last May and 56 pounds since surgery 12/26/06. I couldn't be more pleased with how surgery has changed my life and health. I am a new person and I really didn't realize how much the weight was affecting my life until I lost some of it. Do I like all this saggy Shar-Pei skin? Heck no but I love the way I feel and the new energy so I'll live with the skin!!! Hugs and love to all of you. I can't imagine my life without you guys. Lana

Good Morning Missouri!! I am feeling pretty good this morning...so far! I hope I keep feeling this way! I didn't make it to the Dr. yesterday....he was booked up! I could get an appt for today but I already have one with Dr. H. I got one for David with our PCP (pain in legs and feet) but it is for 4:00 and I have to be in Sedalia by 3:00. I will try to make another appt. with my PCP as soon as I get back from seeing Dr. H or tomorrow but I want to talk with Dr. H about some stuff first. Jan...I'm so sorry your under the weather! Trust me, I feel for you! Here we have all been waiting on the GOOD weather and now that it's here, we're sick! I will keep you in my prayers. Thank you for the picnic's info. I didn't know when or where either! How is Sugar and Pam doing? Anyone know? Anyone heard from Andrew or Julia? Sherr....YOU GO GIRL!! I was almost in LaLa land, reading about your date! Oh, the memories! I wish David and I still dated, well I guess we do but after 24 years...it just isn't the same intense dating like it was when we first started out! Hmmm, looking back with our relationship...the beginning wasn't that good! Maybe it was other relationships I had!....lol I think it's the new "falling in love thing" I liked so much! David and I are great together and he is a very loving man...it's just the newness, I miss! Anyway Sherr...have fun girl! Good Morning Everyone: Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. After there busy weekend. I went and cleaned house today. Stopped by my Dr.'s office they are wanting to do a cancer screening before they do surgery. But since I just gave them blood they didnt think I would need to go back and get stuck again. We will see the results wont be bac****il late this week or ealry next week. Not what I need right now. anyways then I went to the bank, stopped and got something to drink, Walgreens to pick up meds, and stopped and got Dad his lottery tickets. lol Now I am home. Changed into my pj's it is pouring down rain here and lighting and thundering. Getting ready to take my meds and get something to eat for lunch. Terry did all the laundry in the house for me while I was gone today. Bless his heart!!!! It was all folded and laying on our bed when I came home. Yea!!! That is 1 less thing I have to do today. I didnt get to talk to Pam this morning but she left me a message on my cellphone. They are calling it an infection. She has had a catscan, leak test, x-rays, ect. And nothing is wrong anywhere outside of the fact that she has an infection. They are keeping her in the hospital until her white blood cells come down then they will let her go home. Please keep her in your prayers!!!!! I pray everyone has a blesed day. And I am so looking foward to our meeting this coming Monday!!!! God Bless Mel

Good afternoon Missouri..... That was tattoo number four.....it is on my right shoulder....I love it...I do believe after I lose the rest of my weight I will get one more...My dad told me years ago when I got my second tattoo on my left bossom, that my grandkids will just have to look at my knees to see it when I get older....lol my dad is such a jokester....love him dearly though.... Well Janet you just might have to send the kidnappers after me.....this coming Monday is not looking good either....I can't promise anything...we are so stinking busy here at work that I think I am meeting myself coming and going.....last night I had to go to bed at 530pm because I had a stinkin' migrane....laid in there for about an hour got up and went and got my hubby and I some McDonald's and was back to sleep by 730pm for the night.....and to think I could hardly get out of bed this morning.....I think I need to start taking my vitamins the right way again....especially since we will be getting so busy next week....I will need all the energy I can get..... Jan C., my son has gone to Branson with my parents for two weeks and then I will be taking him to Nebaska...he will be staying with my sister in law for the summer well almost the whole summer....I will be driving him up there the first weekend in June....that should be an exciting trip with just him, my daughter and I.....my son must have had his ears burning because just as I am typing about him he calls me on my cell to tell me he is going to see the Baldknobbers tomorrow with my parents...and of course, he told me he missed me.... Well, I better get off here so that I can go draw up some more medications.... No Jan, I haven't had plastic surgery yet. I am just barely a year out so I have a bit to go before I can approach a plastic surgeon. As for the surgeries I've had - I had a cyst removed from my scalp and a hernia repair both within 10 days of each other. Everything is healing fine though. Don't worry Momma Jan, I am taking it slow and careful with Lloyd. But you know what they say about trusting your gut? Well, my gut tells me he is a really great guy but I'm still proceeding with caution. Thank you for saying that I deserve happiness. He really does make me happy. Hope you are feeling better and not so tired. Deanna
