WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY-MOTHERS DAY

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, TO ALL : It is suppose to be a beautiful day today. I hope so seems like a lot of people are planning picnics and bar b qs or like us we are having a fish fry. Hope all your kids show up or at least call you today if they are too far away. All of mine(3) plus my great niece who is like our daughter will be here . I am so blessed. Thank you dear Lord . They have given me more than one grey hair but I love them and I know they love me. I spent about 2 hours planting petunias and impatients. And all sorts of shade plants. Sweat was just pouring off of me and I had to stop and say HEY this is a wow moment. Before if I got to sweating like this I would have had to go in the house and get cooled off today I just kept working right thru it all. Felt so good to be able to do that. Joe caught more catfish and crappie today. We will have a big fish fry with all of this. JANET: that is so neat that you are able to wear some of Sugars clothes. You should be set with pretty clothes and the work capris I gave you. I love capris. They are my favorite thing to wear in the summer. I haven't worn shorts in a long long time. Lol probably wont now either since the legs look pretty bad lol Hey tell Jon that the "flower lady " is really proud of him for using the big boys pottie too. That is really neat and wonderful .he must have gotten old enough to reason that everyone else went to the pottie in there and no snakes got them. Lol Hope he gets to collect all the little cars. Do you not like beans? They are one of my favorite things to eat since surgery. I cant eat much meat or at least not enough so I use a lot of beans for protein. Sure wish you all could have come down yesterday. That would have been a wonderful surprise. Hopefully after memorial day the price of gas will go back down some. Oh what are we doing for the OH family reunion? Gotten any feedback yet? SHERR; Isnt it neat to be down to size 10s. I really never expected to ever see that size again. And if I don't lose another pound I really will be happy I think. But I have started losing a little bit here and there again. So hopefully the clothes I have now will start getting too big on me again. Your landscaping project sounds really neat. SUSAN: Hey glad to meet another Survivor fan. Lol I have t=vo so I can stop it and start it back up when the phone rings or something so it isnt too bad. Well glad other peoples minds mess up too sometimes. Lol So Monday you may have a surgery date huh? Will pray that it is so. The tomato patch sounds really good. And colorful. BRENDA: Or rather Grandma again. She has red hair and is called Maggie that seems like that is what her name should be to me. Good name for a red headed girl . Nice size too right? Congratulations is great to have another granddaughter. So you only have the one grandson? How neat? You are so right about getting too expensive at Christmas time. Well you all have a wonderful Mothers Day, Both Joes mother and mine too have both passed away so it is a little sad too. I know I still miss my mama so much. And I know that Joe misses his mama too. Hi Jan. Happy Mother's Day to you and everyone else on OH. Things are good here. I have gotten to the point where I can not only raid my mother's closet for shirts but also for pants. I am now wearing her 22's and they are actually big on me. Feels good. Today was Cody's pack picnic for scouts. He is now officially a Webelos scout. Things are good with Lloyd and I. We were hoping to meet the end of this month but with his mom sick that has been postponed. I have a feeling I'm going to be taking a trip to PA sometime this summer if he's not able to come down here. Please keep his mom in your prayers as he still doesn't have any answers. The doctors are taking their sweet time. We're hoping that means good news instead of bad. Well, I just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm still alive and kicking and to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day. Deanna

Good Morning Everyone: Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers on the Missouri Board!!!! Okay I am totally bushed and ready to climb into bed. But thought I needed to post since Sunday is going to be just as busy. Today I got up early ad went to acouple of rummage sales. One of my friends got a new job and she starts on Monday. She is in bad need of some work clothes. Since she will be working in an office now. So I went out and found her some shirts and a couple pair of pants. Then I spend part of the afternoon going thro all my bigger clothes and got her some more outfits. Then I went and picked up my lil buddie (Jon Janet's son) We spent the afternoon doign something for Janet's Mothers Day Gift. Then I mowed the yard and had to move Terrys trailor. Man oh man that thing was a heavey bugger. I fell into the fence and thought it was going to run over me. Jon was like almost got you hun Aunt Mel?? lol Then Terry & Jon & I went and feed the ducks at Kelloggs Lake. Then we went to the park and played for over an hour. ***Big WOW Moment** While at the park with Jon. I actually fit in the swing and got to swing with Jon. Without it pinching the fire out of my legs. Then I got to clib this latter looking thing and made it thro the small bars that lead to the platform. Then to top it all off I got to slide down the big slide that it approx 2 storys high and it spirals. I thought I would get stuck. But nope I sure didnt. Everytime Jon & I went down it we were yellig Weeeeeeeee!!! It was so KEWL we had a blast!!!!! Then I took Jon home. Got back to the house and put stuff in the car for Sunday. Took my shower I was starting to offend myself!! lol Make over 18 count of deviled eggs. Cleaned the kitchen, took evening meds (Vit). Closed all the windows and turned on the air. Terry was complaining that it was too stuffy in the house. Spoke to Pam for awhile. Now I am posting and getting ready to jump in bed and finish watching Dirty Danceing. Sunday is church. Then I am dropping off all the clothes I got gather for my friend. Then I have to stop at Wally World for a few things. Then were headed over to Janet's house for a prebirthday party for Janet's oldest daughter. Definatley looking foward to a cool outfit and a Down Home Punch and chillin. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and we opened the front door to leave the house. The cat we put out in the yard, scoots back into the house. We didn't want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird. My wife goes out to the taxi, while I went inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn't want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night. So, she explains to the taxi driver that I will be out soon, "He's just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother." A few minutes later, I get into the cab. "Sorry I took so long," I said, as we drove away. "That stupid b**ch was hiding under the bed. Had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her fat a** downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!" The cab driver hit a parked car.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

HOWDY EVERYEON.....HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!! This wont be a long post I just wanted to drop in and say howdy!!!!! Things are pretty good my way...Had all my kids here today and they will be back tomorro as well.....along with my mother and step father....So I know I will have a great day...I love having all my kids here....My next to the oldest brought me a puppy for mothers day.....It's one like I have been wanting....And her and my oldest daughter are going to take it to the vet and get its shots and all for me to finish up my present. I'm still working on my spring cleaning. Seems everything keeps coming up for me to have to do and I keep getting side tract so it is taking me for ever to get it done....But priase the Lord!!!!!! I have been able to be at it and not have to take a million breaks like I use to.....It is amazing what even 50lbs can do for a ole fat girl like me!!!!! I want to get things done so I know things will be ok for a bit after my surgery. I know the girls will keep things done up for me but my house was long over due for some down right cleaning!!! I was so scared when Joe and my son moved our bed room around and got to the part of moving the bed I wouldn't even stay in there lol lol lol...It has not been moved for 1 1/2 yrs lol lol.....Wasn't really all that bad, but you never know after that long lol lol...... I posted the prayer post and added a couple requests for my self but I have something else coming up in about a week that I would like for yall to keep me in prayer about.... As most of you all know Joe and I took off to Texas a few months ago and got his baby girl.....Well her mother wants to come see the girls for a few days... She was going to take Heather back for a month for a visit but she ended up having to go to summer school...but she is coming anyways since she took time off.....The nice part of it is.......I offered to let her and her husband stay with us for the 2 days they will be here!!!!!! ( I KNOW I AM NUTS LOL LOL)..... But we live in a really small town and the lil motel we have is not too hot and if they had to go off to stay in one they would be 30-60 min from here.....So I offered to let them stay with us....I am sure things will be ok casue she knows better than to start anything and she is wanting to make a mends with the older daughter since they have not spoken much in the last 5 years so I know she will be on good behavior.....But I know it will be awkward for everyone but me!!! LOL LOL....I am use to ex's because mine comes around all the time because of my kids.... Him and his wife have been over for holidays & etc and spent the whole day. Besides I am just to easy going to let it bother me! But I know the other 3 parents will be feeling kinda wierd lol lol...The kids might too.... but I think after the awkwardness wears off they will all be ok.....But I really really want this to go good for my girls!!!! There has been so many up and downs with their mother and they hate it and I know the older one says she don't care but I can tell even thought me and her are close she still misses not having her real mom in her life.... And I am not selfish I want to have it toooooo!!! I love my mom to death and can't imagin not having her in my life!! So please pray things go well and there is some bonding that weekend.. The will be here sometime in the afternoon on the 26th and stay till the morning of the 28th.... We are having a big BBQ that sunday and inviting my family and some of our friends so the ex can meet people the girls have had in their lives since Joe and I have been together.... If I don't post for a while after the 28th you will know she tired to show her but and I shot her with my double barrel shot gun LMBO!!!!!!! Just kidding ...... Want all you new post ops to know I am praying for you all....And all you newbies!!!...So glad to see you on the board!!! Keep at it we love hearing from all of you..... Want to thank yall for the wonderfull messages and emails I have been getting!!!! Your prayers, thougthfulness & caring means so very much to me!!!! TO ALL YOU LOOSERS!!!!!! LOL....I love crappie, but I would have to say my favorite fish to eat is Walleye..then Northerns (Pikes), and sunfish...growing up in Minnesota-we always had Northerns-I havent even seen one down here-LOL-but they are comparible to Walleyes. Anyway-I sure hope you have loads of fun today-you are such a sweet person, and I know your kids think you are awesome like we all do!! The #2 is going well with Jon.....4 days in a row-and I am ecstatic~~ YAY....No more pull ups, no more swimmers-its so dang expensive and I could never use the generic or cheaper ones on him because he breaks out so badly-pull ups are the ONLY ones he could use and Pampers Cruisers were the ONLY ones that didnt break him out when he wore diapers-picky kid-LOL... On the Reunion-I am still waiting for 3-4 people to email me back-they returned emails to me-but I had more questions. One just told me the other day that its better NOT to tell them its a reunion, because reunions cause a bigger deposit and such-so I am waiting for a few to tell me what time around or right after Labor Day that they have the most vacancies for at this time, and then each person will be responsible for calling and making their own reservations and such.....I know if it ends up in Branson that there are so many reasonable motels etc IF someone cant get booked at the resort-which is okay too-we can all hang out for the day and go sleep wherever-LOL... I promise, still working on it. We WILL have it-and now it sounds like most everybody who answered will be post op long enough to have a little fun with us as well. **Susan-I LOVED talking to you yesterday-a little scary though, cause it seems like you and I have known each other forever and could have talked for days on end, huh? I think we should talk at LEAST once a week-or start that chat room on the Missouri board so we could ALL talk to each other at once-LOL LOL-I was waiting to see that post you were gonna do to ask if anyone else would be interested in doing that-so put me down and when you get time-post it... What kind of pup did you get? What does it look like and what did you name it? Are you still talking about coming down on the 21st or are you gonna hold off since you have some extra visits to Columbia now? (WHICH I TOTALLY understand!!) **Mel-Thanks for taking Jon and doing stuff with him. I know he enjoyed himself with you and I got to get all my old clothes out of the closet-and started hanging all the stuff up from Sug. I hope so.. **Deanna-Congrats on the weight loss....I just graduated to a sz 24, and some 22s fit, but they have to be stretchy....my problem is on top-the "girls" still cause me to wear a bigger size on top....thats ok-cause the girls have gone down too-maybe one day I will be even-LOL, but I doubt it-but I love those stories...for me, I seriously cant remember the last time I was this small-I think I was 18, and I will be 40 this year. It feels good to hold something up and go-thats WAY to small for me-and it fits...isnt it? **Brenda-CONGRATS on the new baby girl~~WOW~ She was a healthy baby, wasnt she? Love her name too-My oldests name is Megan, but I have called her Maggie all her life-and I LOVE that name~~Im so happy for you....Are they sending you some pics you can post of her? **I will be keeping Pam, Chante and any others in my prayers that need them to recover from their complications...
