WHATS NEW SATURDAY

Well I had this all typed up and ready to go last night and hit a wrong button and deleted the whole thing. So it will be short and sweet this morning. Lol Yesterday was a great day for me. I had company. Becky came out to visit. We talked and talked and walked and walked thru my flowers, She took notes all the time lol I fixed us some lunch and gave her some starts of different flowers. We really had a good time. I hope she will come back again someday. Wish more of my flowers had been in bloom when she was here but cant do anything about mother nature. Hope more of you will come and visit some day soon. JANET: So glad that you and Melissa got to go up to Sugars. She had a lot of stuff didn't she? She buys some really cute things. At the meeting last time I got a lot of stuff from Tami that I can wear and a lot that is still too little but hope to be able to get into them soon. And if never I will give them to you when you get down there . Or someone, anyway. Im sure that Jon will work it our someday soon about your toilet. You think if you had another bathroom in your house he would use it? That might be an idea to explore. A fear of heights seems to be a really common one for a lot of people. I do too a little bit. But try to push thru it most of the time. MELISSA: Hope you had fun yesterday. Sugar said she enjoyed you all. I just really worry about her and wish she could get back to feeling the way she should. On your father in law that is pretty common in the early stages of the disease process. But learn to enjoy them and get plenty of rest while it is going on. So when do you think you will be having this surgery would be nice if you could get your tummy tuck at the same time wouldn't it. Guess that would be impossible anyway. Lol Two doctors working in the same area wouldn't be too good. You know we all will be praying for you and hoping for the very best outcome their could be. BRENDA: will continue to keep you and your granddaughter in my prayers. Don't get too discouraged , most all teenagers are distant with their parents. So you aren't alone. There are lots of exceptions and those parents are so blessed but one day maybe she will turn around. Do you think any of it is her disease? Don't back down on stuff you have said already , no need to drive into town to get her to take her for a few blocks. Lol you are right not her. Don't know why I thought I had to say that but maybe for confirmation to you for standing up for yourself. Please let us know about your new grandchild. LANA: will be praying you had a safe trip and enjoy your weekend with daughter and grandson. TAMI: So glad you are enjoying your new job. Yes I know I hate training times too , especially if it a job I know how to do, and all they are telling me is old stuff . Will still be praying for your friends with cancer. Gods will be done . Way to go on losing a couple of more pounds that is really good. You are so tiny now and healthy looking too. You are very small but you don't look like death warmed over but all rosey and healthy. So glad you have a good man that treats you well. They are few and hard to find . Im glad I have one of them too. I have heard of IT jeans on Oprah. That may be what I award myself with one time when I get to goal. Sure couldn't afford them all the time. Lol. But if they really fit and feel good should be worth it. Wear them when you come to the meeting would love to see them. Ok? SUSAN: way to go girl will be praying that the 12th will be a good day for you . Hope they sit a date for you then. Yes the different colored tomatoes make a great salad, I had several colors of them one year and would slice them and put them on plates very colorful. Good eating too . I love good tomatoes. Mine are producing like crazy and have had several ripe ones already. Well will get this posted I hope this time. Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Have been up since 2:30 this morning-along with hubby...just couldnt sleep-so have been on the puter since 3 posting and responding to some of my emails I havent gotten to. Jan-Sug gave us a bunch of really really cute stuff and some of it fits me now-WOO HOO....wont be naked for awhile! LOL...It was so good to see her-she looks so wonderful-but then I thought she was beautiful before she had surgery.....I wish she had her energy back-and I pray for her every single day. Maybe with her switching docs or something, someone will get some answers for her. Am praying for the best for her! Jon loved the fact that she picked him up to let him see the babys bird nest-he thought that was the neatest thing ever-AND told everyone about it when we got home. He doesnt call her Sug though, he calls her the Flower Ladys sister-LOL LOL I do have 2 bathrooms-LOL...doesnt matter-BUT....good news-for 2 straight days, he has gone #2 on the potty-Thurs at Megans and I didnt get excited about it because I figured it was because he felt safe on her toilet-LOL-but then Friday at home-he went #2 here. SO, when we went to Wal Mart-Mike bought him the hotwheels car of Doc from the movie CARS and Jon wanted the sheriffs car too-well, he wants ALL 25 of them actually-so Mike told him that for every week he goes potty on the big boy toilet-he will get him one of those cars-(at 3.50 a pc, they may be expensive-but cheaper than pull ups at 10.00 a pkg) So-I hope this is a good incentive to conquer the fears. We are just going to keep on him and being supportive and encouraging and just maybe now he knows his brother is full of crap-no pun intended. Got home from Republic and I was hurting something fierce-prob from the Spring cleaning on Thurs than the car ride and the way I was bending over. Darn it. I got the car unloaded (with the help from the girls) and then started going through my clothes. Mike got home early and we went to town and stopped at Wal mart-and then I had to go back and get Steph at work at 9 pm. I fell asleep on the couch about 10:30 and woke up at 2:30 and couldnt fall back to sleep. Hope I am not dragging butt all day! Still hurting, but I did help do some stuff in the yard and then we got some more work done on the pool~ WOO HOO....IF we get all the sealing down (sanding and putty in places etc) we may not have to paint it-if we dont get rain for a week, we will paint, but...will see. We arent doing the BBQ today after all. Mike and I are gonna get the lawn taken care of today and work on the pool some more-and just get the chores etc done and then we will see everyone here tomorrow afternoon. That will be nice. I am gonna start my famous beans that I dont eat-LOL...in the slow cooker today and let them cook overnite on low-I actually have a pretty big list today, but most important is the lawn and pool-inside will be last-LOL...just in case the rain starts AGAIN~ Found out yesterday that my mom is moving back to Minnesota, sometime this summer-she didnt say when. Maybe we can get through this health thing and get it out of the way and then she can move back-dont want her to-but dont want her to stay where she isnt happy either. Dang it. Jan-glad Becky got to come out-I asked Sug how far it was to your house from hers and since it was an hour or more-I was like, not this trip-I figured if it was closer-we would surprise you. We WILL come sometime....guess it will depend on money AND gas prices now too! Geez-our gas jumped from 2.99 to 3.15 yesterday-Holy CRAP.... Was so glad that your grandkids got a good car~! It sounds like you are helping them get their lives together and I wish them all the best. **Sugar-THANKS for the clothes-I LOVE THEM and I appreciate you-and I will PAY IT FORWARD....thats my motto-LOL...You look wonderful and I will keep praying for you to feel better and get your energy back-Stay strong and we love you! **Tammy-CONGRATS on a date girl~I am soooo happy for you. Momma J & Team: Well, I didn't see a "What's Happening Friday" post yesterday and posted one, only to see one later....sorry bout that. Went to Belk's Dept. Store yesterday during my mani/pedi yesterday and get this... BOUGHT A "MEDIUM" cotton top and Size 10 Capris. Even I couldn't believe it. I started out getting an XL TOP...LOL...Kept going back getting a smaller one. I don't think I have been this small of a size since Dylan was born. I am wearing a Mango colored skirt and sweater set and Mango wedge heels on Monday night's date w/ Mark. I hope I don't end up looking like a big ole Mango Popcicle...lol Lana, that is sooooo neat that you met your honey bunny thru the newspaper....I think I am more freaked out about going out period, just not that it's a new guy. I got up at 6:00 a.m. this morning and finished my landscaping project in the front lawn. There is a sweet little one armed woman, Mrs. Dawson, that lives on the street that runs between my street and my mom's street...she sells perrenials for $1!!! Mom even gave me some evergreens and it looks great, but I am wiped. Stay cool and safe everyone.

Hello all and Happy Mother's Day Eve to all those women who are mothers, who are going to be mothers and those special ladies that are true mothers, not because they gave birth but because they are there for childred who need the love of a "special mother", and those ladies made the "CHOICE" to be "special mother"! I wont be able to post tomorrow so I wanted to wish everyone a great day tomorrow. As my mother has been gone for 4years now, its not always the best of days but I try because I am a mother, and because I have one of those "special mothers" that has been there for me, I consider my earthly mom, now. My family has planned a BBQ in the park so I will be thinking of Jan and Mel's BBQ and Jan's beans she cant eat, lol. Roy and I will leave there around 2:00 to head up to Columbia to get a motel and be at Doctor Scotts and 7:45 Monday morning, I am so excited!! We have to be checked in a motel and sitting in front of the TV by 7:00pm because of the Survivor 2hour finale (sp) Yes I am so bad abou****ching, (everyone in our home) We will not even answer the phone when its on, lol Well wish me luck in Columbia please and I hope I can come back with a date for surgery MOnday night. Jan I feel ready to give those tomato plants a try. Gonna use the Zebra's, Orange, and reds! Thanks for the help. Sorry I may of made a mistake on the day I typed for Dr. Scotts classes, not the 12th its Monday the 14th, my mind doesnt work sometimes! Tammy Bet your so excited sis. I have a new GRANDDAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9lbs 3ozs / 20 inches long with red hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her name is Margaret will be calling her Maggie. So this will be the last one. My daughter has 3 girls Sydney 17, Sarah 15, and Skylar 7. My son has Jacob 4 and now Margaret. My daughter had her tubes tied after Skylar and my son said this is all for him. My son that passed away didn't have any children. I think 5 is enough for me, gets expensive at Christmas!!!!! I'm glad to hear about all the surgery dates it seems we have someone almost everyday having surgery. No way could I remember everyones name like some of you do, so I'll just say an all inclusive Hello !!!!!!!!!!!!! I pray everyone has a wonderful Mother's day tomorrow. It's kind of melancholy for my husband and myself, his mom passed away 28 years ago and my mom passed away 12 years ago, we both miss them terribly!!!!!!!!! I don't believe you ever get used to not having your mom. I know this is a late post but since I had to move alot of things around for my granddaughter to move back in with us, I decided to really do some extensive cleaning and getting rid of alot of junk so I've been working my tail off.
