Does anyone have any experience with this? When I was pregnant I tested positive for this and the doctors at that time diagnosed me with Lupus. Since then I have tested negative for two out of the four tests for Lupus but the Rheumatologist said that my last test result (dont know when that was taken) tested positive for lupus anticoagulant. I lost my baby due to the placenta being clotted. I hope this doesnt hinder me from the surgery. I am going crazy. Amanda

I lost our first baby due to anticardiolipin which is connected to lupus. The perinatologist told me when I got pregnant again (after being on daily doses of baby aspirin so the blood wouldn't clot and cut off the blood flow to the baby) that you don't necessarily have this w/every pregnancy. So I don't really have lupus but it does sound like we had similar problems that resulted in loss of a baby. I have had no problems since I was diagnosed and it didn't hinder my surgery at all. Talk to your doctor about it.
