*** I GOT A DATE!!!!****

Went to Columbia today to do my stress test, PFT, apt w/Dr.Acuff & Dr.Scott... The testing went great.....I go back next thrusday May 17th to do my finall stuff w/Dr.Scott..... They are suppose to call me tomorro with my time for next thursday and my SURGERY DATE!!!!!!! I am sooooooo excited!!!! They said it should be with in the next 30 days but it could be earlier! They have to wait and see what they have...So if the Lords willing and the creeks don't rise.....I should get a date for around the 1st or 2nd week of June!!! I weighed around 2am this morning and I was only 1lb from my 50lb goal!!!! I was so darn excited..But then by the time I made it to see Dr.Scott late this afternoon his scales showed I was 6lbs away from the 50lbs....I'm not going to argue cause I am so excited to have made it so close to the goal.... Thanks Janet for doing the prayer post!!! And I want to thank you & Mel for being such wonderful Angels....And thanks to all my sweet friends that have been praying for me to get to that 50lb goal and praying for me to help me get through all those tough days on that dang liquid protein diet!!!! I haven't had a chance to get on and did not know till today when I talk to Janet that Chante had that terrible scare!!! If any of you talk to her please let her know she is in my prayers!!!! Woo Hoo Tammy, way to go on the weight loss. Congrats on the impending surgery date also. I am just starting my journey but I can't wait until I can post "I GOT A DATE". That must be so exciting for you...

Tammy~ammy WAY 2 GO GURL!!!!! I am so proud of you!!! We knew you could do it. And trust me we know it isnt easy. But now it is going to be a piece of (errr let me rephrase this) It's going to be easier. Because now you have your date and you know you cant go into surgery having gained 1 pound. I have no doubt in my mind that by the time your surgery gets here you will have lost even more weight!!!! Keep up the AWSUME WORK!!!! Your the one that deserves the credit we didnt do anything. Tammy, I am so proud of you. I knew you'd do great and now you will do even better without the pressure on yourself. You just keep on losing because every pound you lose before surgery is one less you have to worry about afterward and it does shrink your liver and make the surgery go more smoothly. After my surgery I asked Dr. Edwards how my liver looked and he said, "You have a beautiful liver". I told him he was a very sick man!!! Keep up the marvelous work and hope to see you soon. Tammy this is the first post I've read since not being on here at all for a good 2 wks or so!!! WOW!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!! You have done so awsome with the weightloss too!
