over 450

Does anyone know any surgeons that do surgery on people over 450?

Angie, Dr. Christopher Edwards at St. John's in Springfield did surgery on a friend who was over 550 so I know he will. I would check with Dr. Hornbostel in Sedalia too. Hugs, Lana

Thanks Lana---I called they only do under 500 and they are not a center of exellence for medicare---guess I should have mentioned that I need that lol

Bothwell is a coe, you might check with Dr H..you will glad if you have him do your surgery. He is an excellent doctor..

Hi Angie...I am using Dr.Scott in Columbia...I don't know about medicare but he takes medicade and he takes patients with high BMI's....I started at 474......He did request I loose 50lbs to help make my surgery more safe.....So far I really like him and know of several people he done surgery for.....If you need his number let me know I'd be glad to send it to you....Hugs....Tammy
