When I had my RNY in August 2007 my BMI was 47 and I was in the "extremely obese" catagory. I just did my BMI calculation and now I am in the "overweight" catagory!!!!!!! You knew a person could be happy to be called "overweight" I have to lose 35 more pounds to make it into the "normal" catagory!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back in Aug/07 I really couldn't comprehend how I look today!!!!!!!!!!!!! A big wow moment for me!!!!!!!! Love to all Brenda

Congratulations!!! That is terrific news for you. I know how you feel about not comprehending how I would look. I started with a BMI of 53.2 and am now down to 33.2. I've lost 160 pounds and didn't realize how I would look or how things would fit on me. Isn't it terrific? Keep up the good work. Scott

Congrats to you, Brenda! Only at a place like OH can you celebrate being "overweight"! I know exactly how you feel because I was excited to finally get to being just obese and not SMO. I started with a BMI of 63.?, now it's in the mid obese category and I'm really happy about that. I'm going to join you in a happy dance ... , You are doing great!
