Hello again!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to post to let you all know I have been doing alot of lurking, but I am keeping up with all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and like I have always said you are such an amazing and supportive group! Things here are still in waiting mode, I have my first rejection from the insurance company, and am expecting my 2nd sometime in the next month. (There is a written exclusion). I am still sending letters to senators and reps all the time. SB 97 is still in committee, and I am not sure it will make it out, but believe me I am still pushing!!! My place of employment will probably be changing insurance plans for the next calender year, and because I work for county government there is a new program for counties they are probably going to be buying into, long story short, I have already hounded the plan administrator and the reps from this program about NOT discriminating against people suffering from obesity, no other disease process is discriminated against. Besides, how does it look for obesity to be a major target for public heath monies and our insurance won't even treat it! It looks like there may be a chance that mt insurance will cover surgery next year. PLEASE keep praying!! If not I am seriously thinking about figuring out how to pay for it myself and go to mexico. Do any of you know someone who has done that? I have read all that there is on this website about it, but would love to talk to someone close who has actually gone to Mexico.
