WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Well I started this yesterday afternoon and was so tired that I forgot to save it. Now I woke up from sleeping and thought I would come post it and ,,,,,,OH NO . It wasn't saved !!! All my jewels of wisdom are gone lol. Sugar is at home they released her with medication to try and heal the ulcer she has , Don't understand why they didn't take out the gall bladder and then try to heal the Ulcer. Now she has to go back in 2 weeks to check on the Ulcer. Must be a reason for it but it doesn't seem right to me. But Oh well. They sent her home on a shot of Morphine and prescriptions of Darvocet. Hopefully that will be enough for the pain of the gall bladder if it starts hurting again. And then medication for the ulcer too. Wasn't Yesterday beautiful? Today is suppose to be even warmer. I bought the hose for the big pump for my ponds yesterday so Hopefully we can get that all laid out tomorrow and in place and buried so I can start with the rock work on that side of the pond too. We are going to have to go get a bunch more rocks . I about used most of the ones Joe brought in the other day on a retaining wall on the one side of the waterfall and pond area. I then planted 2 clumps of pampus grass and 4 elephant ears and some castor beans on that side all of that I think will give it a tropical feel. On the other side in the back I want to put a few flowers that will have some color. Havent really decided yet. Found the perfect place for the stepping stone that Jon,Janets son, made me. It looks so pretty there. Will take a picture tomorrow so and post on my profile so he can see where I put it. TAMMY: wow you managed to fool the psych. Doc? That was a good job. Lol Just kidding sweetie. Glad that you have all of that over with and are that much closer to getting a date with your surgeon. Want you to know that I am still praying for the nephew and his situation and for your sister I know that has to be a sad time for her and very stressful too. DEBBIE M: Well how are you and your new puppies doing? Lol That was sort of stupid on his part to come out there and do that little bit. You think he knows you are taking care of them so why come out and pretend to feed and water. Like he does it daily. Lol Hey it would be awesome to have you move down into this area and to be able to attend the COF meetings. You would add a spice to it that isnt there now for sure. Lol But I know nothing about Plastic factories anywhere. There are lots of factories in Springfield but I cant tell you what they are. Lol There use to be a lot more until they moved a lot of them to Mexico. You think you might be needing a "fill" since your sickness? I don't know anything about the band but maybe that is why you were eating too much or what ever. Wow the grand opening at Sutherlands sounds like I would have been going wild in there . Could have gotten a lot of tropicals for the new pond area. Lol RACHAEL: That is so sweet that you and your mother in law get along well. That sure makes things work better doesn't it? Pretty neat woman to come in and go to work like that in your house. Wish I had one of them so I could get some of my stuff done here. Lol I know you will miss her when she goes. Let us know how the potty training goes with the little one. I always hated that with my kids. So my last one I said im not going to worry about it and you know what she trained herself and was done with it about the same age as the other two were finally. Lol Now doent know if that would work with all kids but I was like hey there is the potty chair and if you want to use it good. If not you can wear wet panties. I think she thought I was goofy lol . I was a little then too. COLETTE: Good to see you online. Glad your group is coming along. Im sure that it will grow more soon. Maybe Charlotte and Virginia can come next meeting. Did Julia show up at this last one? Would love for someone up in that area go and see her and let us all know how she is doing. Glad things are going well with you . And you are getting some of your garden in. But it is suppose to start raining again I think Tuesday so if you are going to get anything in you better do it quick lol Andrew: where are you? Good Morning Momma J & Gang.... Well, I haven't heard anything else from Cindy, (the lady with the poodle) she was having troubles with a ho****er heater and that was consuming her time, trying to get that repaired.... So, no puppy @ Blondie's house. I talked to Bailey & Lucais, and they said they were sad, but they are glad mom didn't bring a new "kid" into the mix. LOL So, get this, I HAVE A GAS LEAK....with all this other stuff going on, when I came back from taking my dad to the doctor last week, the "City, Light, Gas & Water Dudes" were here....they said, when they ran a test, it was showing a leak on my property. They tried to weld it and fix it, but apparently, they are going to have to buy all new pipe and a meter and mess up a little of my lawn. eeekkkk. The really freaky thing, the meter is RIGHT outside of my bedroom window. I have been wanting to have this County "Day Center" group come and till this spot for my 1st ever attempt at a garden. I measured it the other day and it's 14 feet x 23 feet area. THey do tilling to save money for a trip to Branson. I haven't a clue how much it will cost me. And that will determine IF I can even do it. I started squash, cukes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, beans, limas peas...etc from seed...the Squash & Cukes all have flowers on them already, the tomatoes were a disaster, they are just tooo fragile, the peppers are tiny compared to the size I find at wal-mart...but, I had a $25 off $25 coupon with an online retailer so the seed didn't cost me a thing! And it was great therapy for me. I've never grown corn either and a local woman that messages on that "semo.net" site mentions this corn that is "to die for" so I "might" try doing corn along the privacy fence, just for fun. It may all totally flop! Last fall, I had babied my mature pear tree alllll summer, and it looked as tho I was going to end up with about 18 bushels of pears, and the WEEK I went in for surgery...... Neighbors, thieves or vagrants came into my yard, thru my privacy fence and PICKED IT CLEAN....I returned from WLS to find only 2 pears left, which squirrels proceeded to steal right in front of me. LOL Ever seen a squirrel RUNNING with a pear bigger than his whole body, THAT was worth the laughs. At least the squirrels earned theirs. I found out that winter the old neighbors came and took the pears...apparently the LAST OWNER told them they could.... I will be gunning for them this year...believe that. LOL Now, for the serious stuff....Sugar....dear, dear sugar... Please let her know we love and pray for her. I told mom that you (Momma J) were going back for those synvics shots.....the pain she is in, I didn't think they even "worked" and she told me yesterday she was glad you were getting them, because without them, she wouldn't be able to walk AT ALL by now. I cried when she had them....she is waaaay tougher than I am. I have never tried to out-tough my mom.... Mrs. Deb. I hope you and your puppies, kids, grandbabies are all doing okay. I have been following your puppy saga, and can only imagine the stress you are in. My sweet boy worked for 2 weeks readining his Dodge Ram 4 x4 for a truck show and it was SOOOO great looking....He was heartbroken, he placed 3rd. Beaten out by 2 grown men ((this car show is in memory of a class mate of Dylan that was killed in an auto accident 3 years ago)) My baby, he was beaten out by a local firefighter and a local Barney Fife Cop....both weiners I went to school with, and am soooo mad they allowed grown ups to enter in with children. The judges were other Goobers I went to high school with that are friends of the people they chose to WIN... You know how it is...Mother Lion wants to protect her cub as much as she can. He was sooooo exhausted, he got at the event at 7:00 a.m. and it lasted until 2:00. He was burnt to a crisp. I hugged him and told him how proud I was of him, but from mom, it doesn't help the disappointment, ya know? I will try to post some of his pics from the day of the event once he gets the camera to me, and I can upload them. I noticed spiders in the house this week...they were on death's door, but STILL...so I need to spray today, which I hate doing, but that's what I get for being so mean and not having a hubster...LOL... Okay, so I don't mind spraying THAT much Who else on the board is soooo over the (TOM) with the cramps and stuff...GOOD GOD, I am ready for that part of my life to be OVER already.... Especially since I can't take a whole bottom of MIDOL anymore and pass out love you guys S

Good Morning Everyone: I am here and checking in. Saturday had a good day it was so beatiful outside. Today I am just kicking back and going to do some laundry. The other day I was at Wal Mart and slid in a wet spot and hyper extended my right knee. And it has been killing me ever since then. If it isnt any better by Tuesday when I go to the doctor for my (PT-INR) I am going to have him look at it. Every time I step it wants to bend backward again. Dad was up pretty much all night long. So I didnt get much sleep. He is sleep right now so I think I might go take a nap and relax for awhile. Glad to see that Sugar is home. She sure has been keeping those prayer lines burning bless her heart. I hope everyone has a great day. I got all the windows open and the breeze is just blown thro the house. Feels great!!!! Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ I missed posting yesterday-so I thought I would get on and do it real quick while my house is quiet-LOL...Jon is with Mike getting gas for the riding lawn mower-Darrel is visiting his womb and wont be home till this evening and Steph is at work-This quiet time doesnt last long, so I enjoy it when it happens!! Yesterday I got up at the butt crack of dawn (LOL) and I met Mel for some garage sales....Found some really nice clothes and toys for Jon and some purses for myself-WOO HOO...Love my purses!! Got home in the afternoon and made a grocery list...My mom came over and we went to a couple grocery stores-and then dropped Steph off at work. By the time I got home-I was wiped out!!! My back was hurting like nuts-but felt better after taking some pain meds. My mom stayed for dinner and we had a good evening. **Jan-I cant wait to see where you put the stepping stone. I will be supervising Jon next weekend when he makes a couple for grandmas for Mothers Day-and then hoping that SOMEONE helps him make one for me... I dont know why I emphasized this-have been hinting to my husband since last Fathers Day when he got his.... We are doing some planting today. My adopted grandma that lives down the driveway gave me about 7 pots of Iris's and my mom is going to help me get them planted too. I also have to get some bird seed put in the feeders, along with the hummingbird ones. We have three of them. I havent seen any hummingbirds yet-but I have seen a TON of baby birds in their nests etc-and I love hearing them chirping at their mamma when they are hungry...Oh, I THINK Spring is FINALLY upon us-YEAH.... Told Mike we need to get started on the pool-I wanted to get in so bad yesterday, so the bug has bitten and we need to get it done!! Deb-Would LOVE to see you and David this way-we would have SO MUCH fun!!! I hope you can find something. I will get that paper mailed out to you tomorrow. All the want ads and houses etc. Next time I go to Springfield, I will pick up one of their papers too. I think in the outskirts of Monett, MO there is a plastic factory-I believe they make little tykes toys or something-cant remember-I know its little kids-but I also remember it being plastics-the name escapes me right now. Good luck though and if you need anything, you have my email-just let me know. Have to call my angelettes today-Krissy and Tammy Ammy and see how they are! I havent heard from Susan...I hope she is well-she should have had her 2nd sleep study yesterday-so maybe she has just been tired with all the traveling she has done. Well, I know this is shorter than normal, but I have some stuff to get done today and then Mike and I are gonna play on our track we have done now!! Its so much fun-and he got the new body for my truck done-and it gave it a whole new look-it looks a lot better now-hate to cra**** because it looks so awesome....I am doing laundry right now trying to get that caught up (yeah right) and then get dinner taken out and prepped. Hello Missouri, Just a quickie note to say I'm alive and doin' fine. I am still praying like a crazy woman (what else would I pray like) for Sugar to be completely healed. And, of course, I am praying for all of you in a blanket prayer for all your needs and concerns. Went to the gym this AM, then sat in the yard and read for an hour and then cut down a butterfly bush and chopped it up so it would go in the garbage can and helped DH do some other yard work and I am a little warmish on the skin and my muscles are telling me that they want to soak in the tub - so maybe the Jacuzzi in the bathroom will be used. I've never been in it in the 2 1/2 years we've lived here. Always was afraid I couldn't get out. Went to the Salvation Army to drop off some stuff yesterday and of course to shop. I got some turquoise blue Converse high-top sneakers. DH is apalled. He's so much more proper than I am. Oh well, he loves me because I'm crazy and I love him because he's not!!! Must go, my back is not too good tonight. Hugs and loveys to all of you, Lana
