Just got off the phone to her. They said that the pockets of fluid that she had before were all but gone. and that the bowel obstruction seems to be resolving itself. she will be in the hospital for today anyway. She is now able to pass gas and wasnt able to do that bfore. So that is a good indication that it has straightened itself out. They are still doing another cat scan on the upper body to see if there is any blood clots or anything up there that was causing the pain she was having in the upper chest area. Im glad that they are being cautious with her and checking everything out. She has had more than enough. lol her doctor said that someone *****ad it on here said that i didnt like him actually hated him. I dont remember ever writing that do you all? I told her i sure didnt remember that and to tell him that it wasn true. I dont hate him in fact i really try not to hate anyone. Any way keep praying for Sugar I think the prayers are working and making her better. She is really having buyers remorse but that is to be expected. She said maybe she was suppose to tell newbies what can happen and that this isnt something to do just out of being vain over a few extra pounds but only as a last resort. She is hoping that when this is all over and she is well and healthy that she will think it was all worth it. I told her im sure she would . will let you all know what the other cat scan says when i hear. Love all of you Jan

Jan, You never said that you hated her Doctor. You hate drains, we all know that, and you hated them before Sugar ever had surgery. So, don't fret yourself. You were surely mis-quoted. I'll testify for you if necessary!!! So glad they are being cautious with her care. She's way way precious to many of us, as are you. I know she may be regretting her decision now but down the road, after all this mess is over, she'll be like everyone else, glad she had the surgery done. Hugs and love and tell her I love her. Lana

(((((((Jan))))))))) You have NEVER said you hated anyone! I know you stated you hate drains and I agree with you completely! I'm really glad to hear Sugar is doing better. Glad to know the pockets of fluids are gone and her bowl obstruction is resolving itself. My Mom had a bowl obstruction about 10 years ago. She had gall bladder surgery the day after I was born (almost 45 years ago) and that caused a lot of scar tissue to develop. That is the reason she has to have surgery for her bowl obstruction. It is not something to mess around with. Please tell Sugar that almost all of us have experience "Buyer's Remorse" at one time or another. I did the first day I was home, when David helped me get out of bed and I was so sore and had phenomia. Honestly, that is the only time I have felt that way. I am a little frustrated now because my scale hasn't move but 1/2 lb in the past two weeks. But I know I haven't been doing my part which is walking 30 minutes a day and not getting enough protein in. I am going to go walk 30 minutes on my treadmill as soon as I get done answering my emails. Please give Sugar our love. Debbie D.
