Well Tammy while at the present I don't have any house plants, I use to have an overabundance of them since I lived in an apartment and had no land to grow things on. Peace Lilies are one of the easiest of those to grow but is also one of the easiest to kill lol They like bright light but NOT direct sun they will sunburn easy. When you water let the water run thru but, don'****er small amounts daily. Let it sort of dry out before you water again. Not to the point of wilting but just before. They wont tolerate temps below about 60 degrees very well. And there isn't any need to fertilize them more than once in 2 or 3 months. And then use a mild 20=20-20 fertilize. Hope all of this answers your questions. Good luck. Garden tip:: I thought of this while I was planting some of my flowers in the ground today. You know the little brown fiber planters you can get for seedlings. When planting them into the ground you can leave your plants in there that is ok but they will do better if you tear down the sides so they aren't up around the plants in a box. Also make sure you get the tops of the fiber boxes completlly underground. Other wise if they stick up above the ground they will wick off the water and cause them to dry out too quick. I worked all day long from 7 am till about 5 pm today planting, watering. Seeding, digging etc. I sat down once about noon and had a protein shake. That energized me for another few hours. Im going to have to pick up another hose for my green house I left the water on with all that pressure on the hose and when we got back yesterday from Branson there was water spraying everywhere in the green house. Got a lot of things watered and cleaned off lol I have a couple of small lilac bushes and also 3 pineapple sage bushes. That I will bring to the meeting if anyone wants them. Just let me know at the meeting. I will have them in the truck. SUGAR: Im sure you will get some tickets soon. I will call Steve and let him know you are interested in getting some. Lol. Im not sure who he has promised some too. Ok. Im glad that you are feeling better all the time. I will call you tomorrow and see what you are doing . we may come into town early and come out or we can meet and have supper lol. DEBBIE M: sounds like you had a rough day with that lawn mower. But glad the grandson won out in the end. Did you get your flower beds cleaned out? Well I hop isnt used to seeing working people then they need to get use to it. TAMMY: So sorry about the nephew. Don't know what he is in to but at that age they can get into so many horrible things. That can affect them for the rest of their lives and they don't even know that. So sad.and yes it can affect the rest of the family. I will pray for him and all his family that you will know how to deal with it. Your weight loss is fantastic. And Im sure the surgeon will see that you are really trying. Yeah the only time in life that being a loser is a good thing. Lol Honey if you don't want to do the prayer post you don't have to . Everyone can put there request on here like they were doing . It is very nice that they have a place to put them especially but we can do it either way you want too. Oh yummy the pie receipt sounds good enough to eat lol. What size everything do you use. What size yogurt . tiny ones or big ones ? JANET: that is fantastic that you had such a good luncheon with your friends. And that they were really pleased about your weight loss. Do you think you ate something without knowing it at the luncheon that made you sick in the afternoon? I know what you mean about staying away from things because you thought you wouldn't be able to sit in the seats or you would have to walk too far. Or too many steps to climb etc etc. we have all been there. Yes every once in a while your kids surprise you lol. Im glad that you and Melissa can wear some of the things and (when) not if you get too small for them you can pass them on. I cant imagine how much better you must fill losing that much weight. WAY to go. Oh tell me what is Jons favorite flower and what color. VESTA: well I hope the creeks don't get that big that you cant get to the meeting. Tell your daughters they both need to come too. Lol Cant wait to see you sweetie. A new friend of mine that is in the process of getting surgery is going to be there tomorrow night too. Her name is Becky. She has been on the board once giving directions to the park in Sedalia. Talk to you all tomorrow in person for the ones coming to the meeting and on here to the ones that are not. Love all of you LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS. JAN

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ *Jan, I would LOVE to have the lilacs.....I wont be greedy and take them all unless no one else wants them, but would LOVE to have at least one-they are my favorite. I dont know anything about the pineapple thing, but IF you have enough, I will take one too-if you explain to me where and how to plant it-LOL....THANKS... Jon and I finished up your prize yesterday-he had so much fun and I am so excited for you to see it!! He worked so very hard on it!!! Mel got one too-and I am so glad she didnt post what he made her-but I am glad she is waiting until after tonite-LOL....Jon likes ALL flowers. Not sure he has a favorite-as ANY time he sees wild flowers etc and they arent in someones garden-he picks them for me-he LOVES to plant and watch things grow. He doesnt know it yet-but I am buying him the little wheelbarrow he has been asking for, since before Easter. We planted some corn and green beans the other day when we repotted his sunflowers and marigolds. He was so excited. I have 2 more hanging pots to fill, so we are going to get marigolds or....cant remember the name of the others, but they are colorful and you clip the flowers off them and they last all summer...the ones we have now are purple with white stripes. I have everyone saving coffee cans for me so we can get them painted and put on the privacy fence around the pool....I Cant wait, but am going to wait till after May 1. Jan-are you taking Ricki as an angelette? I saw the post where you said you were available....so I was wondering if you meant for her since you posted under her-LOL. If not, I will take her-just dont want to step on toes-so just let me know-OK? Thanks. Jan, think my tummy has been upset because of all the medications I am on...I dont feel like I have a bug or flu or anything like that-just that my tummy hurts once in awhile from the medicine~I just hate that feeling. I pretty much stuck to protein shakes and balls yesterday and then had a small salad for dinner with a couple little pieces of chicken breast in it...I ate about 1/2 and that was it-but got on the scale this morning and it was good to me-so I am okay with that. My oldest went to the hospital last night about midnite when she was done at work. She had gotten a tic bite and didnt get it all out and her whole leg is swelling now, gets really hot and when it gets hot-she doesnt feel good, like she is going to pass out or throw up....I hope she doesnt have lyme disease-although I dont really know anything about it. Waiting for her call this morning to let me know how it went. Mike did A LOT of work on the race track (for our RC trucks) this past weekend, and yesterday he got the land timbers laid for the track outline...all we need now is a load of dirt and some plastic tubing-and we are done! We did time trials yesterday and I actually kicked Mikes butt 3 different times....YAY...Maybe there is hope for me after all-well, that was until I crashed and tore the front tire off-axle and all-for the 2nd time over the weekend-DANG IT!!!! That sure isnt a pretty site-to see the tire hanging by a little peice of metal! I requested inflattable bumpers on the sides of the truck, but the MEN think I am crazy-I think I am CRAFTY...LOL-and they told Mike I wouldnt be able to tear it up-yeah right, he said-you havent seen her drive yet-its gonna be a smaller version of what she can normally tear up, just wont cost as much to fix on the smaller scale-LOL LOL....told Mike-gotta love me!! (he knew I was a maniac before he married me-so I always remind him of that-LOL) Poor guy! I have got to tell you-I am so excited about seeing everyone tonite-but equally excited to meet Susan and Pam...and some of our other newbies. Since I am Susans angel and share so much with her-its like I am going to meet a long time friend that I havent seen in years....I just cant wait!!! I wish Tammy lived closer so that she could attend on a regular basis.....I hope she can find a support meeting closer to her and maybe carpool like Mel and I do! Keeping my fingers crossed something comes through for her. Well, I may get my MRI results today.....The surgeon/nuerologist they referred me to in Tulsa, OK doesnt accept my insurance....So, Mel brought me a card from Terrys Dr. in Springfield and I am going to see if my ortho surgeon has heard of any of them, there were several on the card, and one sounds familiar-but since I worked in hospital and insurance for 13 years, I never know if I heard something from a patient or what? Anyway-am keeping my fingers crossed for good news. May have to take some pain meds to get to that meeting-but I WILL get there. Jon still has his cough....I let him play outside yesterday, but made him wear a hat so his ears were covered, it was so windy here-I kept waiting to see him airbound! WOW!! I havent seen the wind that bad in a long, long time!~ We never did get the storms they called for-although there was a couple of times I could smell it in the air and it looked like it was gonna open up and pour down on us-but we didnt get a drop. We were going to drain the pool (AGAIN) but with the weather forecast this week, I think it would be a waste of electricity to run the pump....will wait and see when we can get a forecast with at LEAST a week of no rain! And then hussle, hussle, hussle!!! Well, I am gonna go do my shake and vitamins and then start the long list of things I have to get done today before I leave for the meeting...I wont see my hubby after work today and need to make sure that everything is ready for them-like what time I gave the boys their meds last etc- and then go pull their dinner out of the deep freeze. Stuff like that. I am thinking and praying for everyone on the board-and I hope all is well. Talk to you all soon-or see ya tonite. Love and prayers-Janet P.S. Jan...do you have Andrews address? Could you email him and ask if its okay to share that with me so I can send him a card? Thanks.

I hope you are taking care of your self being so busy taking care of the three of you and doing all the running and all...... Oh yeah.....Jan on the pie....I'm not sure the ounces but you use the regular size cool whip and the bigger size yogurt not those tiny ones...well I guess you could but you would have to use a few more of those......You will get a feel for it after you make one or two as far as how many you want to use for flavor and all...... Well I hope all of you are doing well this week and that you all have a great week...I sure hope mine is better than last week lol lol......I am going to try and rest up this week bacause my daughter her husband and the grand baby will be moving out soon and I want to rearrange my whole house after they get moved out....they put alot of it in storage but with what they needed here with them and all the babies toys we have been wall to wall for seveal months now and since they have been here my youngest step-daughter moved in too lol lol.....so we are packed!!!!!! Good Morning Everyone: Boy is sure is beatiful outside today!!!! I have my windows open airing out the house. And the breeze is blowen and the birds are chirping away. Yea hopefully spring is going to stay for awhile now. Let hope!!!! Didnt make it to church on sunday which bummed me out. But I did get some things done around the house that needed to be done.
