~~WOW Moments~~

Hi everyone- I just wanted to share a couple of WOW moments I have had the past couple of days. First-I saw some friends yesterday (they havent seen me since Sept of 2006) and they even cried when they saw me because of the difference in my apprearance AND my attitude!!! Major WOW there.... I can now CROSS my legs!!! OMG~I cannot tell you the last time I did that-now I do it, all the time-because I can!!!! I have a wrought iron type patio set with the metal type chairs-with sides-have never been able to sit in them~guess what? I can sit and NOTHING is hanging over or through the cracks-AWESOME!!!! Last, but not least-Mel brought me over her old jeans Friday night-the ones I LOVE with the lace on the pockets and a belt-I held them up in the bedroom and thought "there is just NO way those are gonna fit-they look way too little" but I tried them on just to see how much longer before I can wear them-AND THEY FIT-THE BELT TOO!!!!! OMG-I just cant believe it!!! It seems like the more time that passes, the more things I am crossing off of my goal/wish list I made before surgery!! Thanks for listening-I just wanted to share-because I tell everyone else to-and for the pre-op people who are in their journey-I look forward to hearing you say these same things!!! This is such a good feeling to have-thank the good Lord-Love and prayers to all, Janet

Frick ~~~YEA~~~ Now does this mean at the meeting I get to stare at your butt all night long??? I am so very proud of you. You decided in your mind that when you had this surgery that you wasnt going to ride the fence. You was either going to do it your way or the way the Doctor requires. You choose the doctors ways and look how far you have come. Keep up the WONDERFUL work!!!!!!!! And as always thanks for shareing your WOW moments with all of us. It keeps us encourged!!! Now who but another wls person could understand the joy of crossing our legs lol No joking aside you are doing wonderful and i am so proud of you. Everytime i hear of anyones wow moments i say (way to go ) isnt it wonderful that we can be so excited for someone when they get to where they can do things that others take for granted. Jan
