Question about tanning beds
Sherry,
You're going to hear lots of information about why you should not tan and I'm sure you already know most of it. The most convincing is that plastic surgeons don't like to work on tanned skin. However, I am the worst offender, I have tanned myself all over for years. Tami has converted me to a Loreal Optima LOTION person and it does work well. I don't have much trouble with streaking and the color is good. So, I won't preach at you cause I know how good tanning looks but I will tell you that I've had skin cancer twice and that's not fun either. You're an adult, make your own choices but talk to the doctor first.
Hugs and love to you

LOREAL!!! NO TANNING BEDS!!! : )
I lectured Lana and she's trying to be good now and stay out of the beds. : )
This lotion gives a good bronze look anywhere you put it.....when I use it I do it every 3 days or so and folks always ask me if I've been tanning...but I stay out of the SUN and don't do tanning beds...I do not want skin cancer and I knwo in my YOUTH I probably did more damage than I can imagine so I can't risk anymore now that I KNOW what it does to us.
If you think you may want Plastic Surgery down the road and you want your skin to naturally shrink up as much as possible as a post-op WLS pt then tanning isn't good for that either. It damages the skin and takes away elasticity.
Jsut like we have alot of good options for keeping SUGAR out of our diets now, we also have many good options to LOOK tan without risking health.
Just my 2 cents!!! : ) (or maybe $1.75, hee-hee)
