WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY.
Whooo hoooo 2 of the ponds are set now. Tomorrow we will attaché the waterfall to the first one. Man that second one about kicked our butts. Had to dig down almost 2 feet and 5 ft long lol I told Joe this looks like we are going to bury someone in here. He look at me with sweat pouring down his face and said if you ever buy any more of these I might be you. Lol I about died laughing. Silly man. Then he started grinning he knew he didn't mean it lol.
Went to town this morning and got a cut and color. Joe got his hair almost shaved lol
Mine is short . The sides of my hair had gotten really thin so I told her to cut it really short to blend in better with all the little new hairs that are coming in.
So in places it is like ¾ of an inch long but I love it. I may just keep it this way all the time. Now if I can learn how to do the style she did with it.
Opppps I forgot to do my monthy picture on the 14th. Will have to do that tomorrow. And then see if I can get someone to help me put it on my avatar.
GARDEN TIP: I was out messing around my roses today and I happened to think of something that I do when I have it for my roses and they love it. It helps the blooms be bigger and brighter it replaces some of the minerals they leach out of the soil. When you have bananas. Save the peels. And did down around the top of the rose and put the peels there then recover with the mulch you have around them. As they decay they release potassium and something else into the soil and helps the roses to bloom better.
Now how is that for a tip
TRACI K: good morning , hope you and your baby are feeling better. I hope your blood work turns out as good as mine. Mine were absolutely the best.
LOL on the poop. Yes I know you can use dog and cat poop for flower beds after it is so composted. But since I have both in my areas so I just don't use it I would have to have two compost heaps and all so if you grow both flowers and food I would say no unless you are better keeping track that I am. Lol
When I look at you I see a girl I use to be best friends with long ago. You could be her daughter . We lived across the street from each other in Jonesboro Ark. Her youngest daughter was named Traci too or it might have been Stacy lol like I said that was a long long time ago.
SHERR: Even the people who live for Drama after awhile enough is enough right?
Those GFI outlets half the time don't work at anyones house. We rewired our whole house and those outlets just wont work .
So glad that your dad has been helping you out. Hope he and your mother have been improving Maybe they need to help take care of you and they will get all better. People *****tire and do nothing bu****ch t.v. and lab?He was telling me about it.
I love your moms quote. (GET Right) that is cool.
JANET; Yeah it got up to 76 here today so pretty and sunny. Joe and I both got quite a bit of sun out there putting in the pond.
Honey I wasn't laughing at you about the poop stuff. It was just a fun and silly thing to talk about but one of the best things. If you have good dirt you can grow anything.
So glad you like the privacy fence idea. I used that one time when I was helping a girl add some color to her small backyard and she didn't want to take up the little room she had for her daughter to play but wanted flowers . so we did that. We used small buckets, that time but she had all the money in the world to do things and had no imagination.
Wow I sure am glad that you don't drive the real cars on the same highway as I do, I am waiting for several who all would do this for enough.
Wow that is a big wow , to say that the clothes in Catherines is too big now you can move to the other side soon. Lol
Tel Jon that I am really excited to see what he is making for me. I know I will love it.
Oh wow on the old Nova. That could be an awesome car when your husband gets it done.
Im jealous. I love old cars.
Oh yeah if you need or want any help with the reunion please ask Sugar I know she would probably love to help out with it. She loves to organize or plan theme parties and such.
TAMMY:well have you had a chance to see the weather now. It is suppose to be days like today and nights in the 40s50s.
Lets hope so on the protein and maybe I can lose more again.
Oh did you see the post about Julia from Shawn. She appears to be doing well and has no computer at the present.
BEL; We are really glad you joined too. You seem to fit in very well here .
We had a lot of newbies that are for sure.
SUSAN; Was so tickled to see this beautiful weather. That is wonderful and amazing that your Daughter was baptized yesterday. Praise God.
Easiest hanging plant for sun all the time that flowers. There is a plant called sunflower vine. It looks like little flat sun flowers. Then you also could just some morning glories . I forgot to tell you those. Have fun.
BEC: so glad to see you on here ,
SUSAN; Hey really good to see you on here.
BRENDA; did you see the directions to Liberty Park ? Thanks you Bec.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS

Good morning Missouri.....
How is everyone doing this morning? Me, I am doing ok....still not able to eat.....but I am working on it....sometimes even water is hard to take.....the best thing I can eat is rice cakes and drink diet soda, that I really shouldn't be having....I go back to the doctor on the 26th....
I think tomorrow I am not going to come to work and stay home and get some cleaning done because my M-I-L will be here next Wednesday...my hubby is off tomorrow so that would give me the greatest opportunity to get everything done at once then I will just need to keep it cleaned up...
Hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed day
Rachael
Momma Jan:
Everyone Pray for the children and professors that were killed and wounded yesterday.... I just can't "wrap my brain around the massacre" yet.
Mom always calle me & my niece Katey "Drama Queens"...well, I tell ya Miss Kate can do it solo...It's wearing me out...LOL
Okay, so the roofing issue is FIXED....the Shingle company had a rep come to my house along with the distributor that sells the products, and they are going to eat the bill, and sell me the 35 year architectural shinges at the 25 3 tab price....WOOT WOOT....
THe new guy does the install next week (Beginning Monday)....FINALLY. If you can believe this, Momma J. My dad is 68 and still works 7 days a week. Always has. He was meeting with a new lessee (Radio Shack) the day after his knee surgery, and hasn't taken any time off!
He was supposed to be off for 6-8 weeks. We are worker bees, we don't know how to NOT work....I think that's why I ended up sooooooo sick (and FATT) from having brain surgeries and going right back to work so many times. Never resting....
I have such a heavy heart for these children in VA....
Those GFIs are such a pain in the butt.....I still haven't heard from the Master Electrician from Poplar Bluff....
I used the leaf blower and blew out the mess that fired contractor made with the insulation in my garage...GEEZ...then I put fertilizer on the back yard yesterday....and just those two little things....have shredded my back....When did I get soooo BRITTLE?
I hate this. LOL.
Momma J, I too recently had my hair cut REALLY short....a stacked bob...the back of my hair was shorter than my sons....and it gets longer on the sides and top/front. I like it. I had to do something...my hair was coming out soo badly.
xoxo

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~
I have to say, yesterday was so pretty and nice out-I had the sunroof open while I was driving around....YAY...Jon and I took his plants outside to get some sun and watered them all and then we were off. I hope today we can re-pot them! Depends on my back-cause the weather looks like it will be another beautiful day here
We have ONE last step in the prizes we are making for you and Mel-so I am hoping to get that done today as well.
Jan-I didnt think you were laughing laughing at me-but even "I" chuckled at the situation and how I can be sooooo challenged. Trust me-I would have laughed IF I had been on that end of the email-LOL....My hubby told me yesterday that he thinks they sell some of the manure stuff bagged already at the Turkey Feed Store where we buy our dog food and bunny supplies....so-I am going to check next time I go to purchase my truck load of food for them for the month-LOL...The 2 of them go through 160-200# of food a month! Geez.....
Cant wait to see your new cut. I have been thinking about a cut and highlights. Scared out of my wits though. I think its time for a change-for the moment anyway-because I seriously am just losing so much hair-that its disgusting. My son dropped his fork on the floor 2 nights ago and when he picked it up-it had 50 of my hairs hanging off of it-and that grossed me out-its in the car, all over the furniture and floors-and the shower, I have to take it off the drain 2-3 times because it clogs the drain!
Yesterday was one of the worst days I can remember. My life didnt settle down until almost midnigtht-and drama almost the whole day-GEEZ. It started at 9 am when my dad stopped by my house, said that my mom thinks she is moving in with us this weekend....( SAY WHAT??) I was like.....Ummmm, I didnt know anything about that. Been there-done that-kicked you all out last July and told you ALL then, you werent coming back! Ok-so had to deal with that-THEN....the unspoken prayer request for my mentor-well, he turned himself in yesterday and we are waiting to hear the outcome of that situation! I took the wheelchair over for Terry and the really cute jeans (4 or 5 prs) skirt and a really cute shirt over to Mel-I felt so bad because Mel was taking care of her FIL and he sounds like crap-and isnt doing so hot-I cant help her with all the crud she is dealing with right now...OK-so I still had a couple of errands to run and went and did those and couldnt finish because my back was so bad and I didnt want to woof down pain meds while I had to drive because I had Jon AND because I dont like to drive when I dont know how something will affect me. We got done at the hobby shop and wanted to go to Walmart-but that wasnt happening.
I got home, took some pain meds. Mike got home and asked if I wanted to go practice at the official track-why not? By then, the pain meds had kicked in and altho the back still hurt-it was bearable. We all loaded up and went into town to practice...My truck body actually came off my truck-long story-but the new body needs to get done this weekend!! Ok-then we went to Walmart to get a few staples. While we are in Walmart-my daughters friend calls her that lives down the road from us and tells Steph that she thinks our house is on fire because there are firetrucks all around our property and driveway...OMG!!! We tried calling Mikes adopted parents whose property butts up to ours-and they arent home...My heart was sinking and I was in a panic. We are driving home and Megans fiance calls me and he is yelling and being a butt because my ex had just called him and chewed his rear AND called him some choice names-I was telling Aaron-I will have to call you back-he just keeps going on and on-so then I yell at him and hang up too-my ex then calls 3 times-didnt pick it up, I was too worried about the house to horse around with this crap at the moment. So, we get home and the idiots across the street were burning and the fire got out of control (of course they werent keeping an eye on it either) and it did start coming over the road to our property and Grandmas house in the front. Crap! BUT, it didnt get either of our houses and no one was hurt. Thats what was important! Then I had to deal with my daughter and her fiance issues-and I am too mad to even post about it right now. Lets just say that HE cost her over 8,000 in her school funding yesterday.
Thats why my ex was so mad-and then, me and Mike on top of that!
I got a call at 8:15 this morning that they have changed my MRI date to this Thurs. Not sure if thats a good sign or not-LOL...but at least we will get answers much sooner. Im excited about that. So, I have that in 2 days and then next Weds my 2nd spinal. Financially, its better that its this month, because it was scheduled for May 4th. So, now it will fall under my spend down for this month, YEAH...keep your fingers crossed.
Well, I am going to get off here. Have some emails to answer from yesterday that I didnt get time to respond to-and then get my day started. Jon and I have several projects today and I am not leaving the house.
I am praying for everyone. Hope we hear something about Carissa soon. Was glad to hear Julia is ok, that Paulas fundraiser/benefit went well and was sorry to hear Sug started feeling yucky again. Am also praying for Deb and her fur baby Jake. Glad to see Sherrs roofing company did right by her-hope that mess is over with before we get any more rain etc. Talk to you all soon. Love and Prayers, Janet

Good Morning,
Jan Thanks for the bannana tip about the roses. I will give it a try. Today is my oldest son's 21 birthday! He is the daddy of my soon to be grandbaby. I got to see sonogram photo's of it for the first time yesterday. It was really exciting. We don't know the sex yet, they say maybe in another 4 weeks. I have to get crochetting blankets and sweaters. I can't wait.
I hope everyone enjoys the lovely weather.
Hugs,
Bel
Good Morning All!
It feels so good to be alive again and what a beautiful day for living! Thank you Lord!
I have posted updates on the site as to the condition of Jake and myself. If you haven't seen then, the news we have been waiting for may finally be here! Jake seems to be doing better and so am I ! Thank you all for your prayers!
We both still have hurdles ahead but I'm thinking we might just make it!
One thing that I haven't mentioned during this last week is that I lost my Aunt Hazel to lung cancer! She is the one that I have told many of you about! I had referred to her as my "pioneering" Aunt Hazel. This was because she was one of dying breed of women! Annie Oakley didn't have anything over my Aunt! No new fangled gadgets for her! She made her and her families clothes, she made EVERYTHING from scratch! She hunted down, field dressed and carrying her own deer back home. She even processed it herself! She was a very strick Christian woman and she let me know whenever she didn't think I ws living right...boy howdy she did! She was a true spirit and I loved her for it!
She was my Mom's sister and my Mom's bone marrow donor during my Mom's first transplant. She was 69 years old when she donated her marrow, she died on the table that day but the Lord brought her back because she wasn't done here yet! She lived to be 84 years old. My aunt never smoked or went anywhere where there was smoking so we were surprised when she got diagnosed with lung cancer but these days, you can get that stuff from anything, I think!
Goodbye Aunt hazel, you WILL be missed!!
Jason and Wendy are doing okay, if you all haven't been keeping up. They are expecting a baby. Her due date is December 5th. I thought it was funny yesterday when I was talking with Jason over the phone. Him and Wendy were working in their backyard, cleaning it up, deweeding it and planting new things. Jason had made the comment about Wendy sitting over in the corner of the yard pulling weeds with a hand shovel and then he says to me "she shouldn't be doing that, being pregnant and all should she" I just about busted a gut on that one! I bit my tongue and I told him that her and the baby would be fine! That being physical was actually a good thing for her and the baby. Talk about getting pampered when your pregnant...don't we all wish we had been treated like that when we were expecting? I remember doing everything when I was expecting...housework, yardwork, shoveling snow...pulling weeds? yea, git er done!! Oh well, being soft hearted can be a good thing too! Ya gotta love em, no matter what!
My daughter had a scare this week, thinking she was pregnant again! Her baby is only 10 months old. She called me last night to say....God blessed her! She started!! I had to laugh and tell her...you have 2 kids, you know how to prevent that now, don't you? Praise the Lord, their all raised....I couldn't deal with all the drama! I have way too much in my life already!
Well, anyway, I'm back and just wanted to get on here and let everyone know!...lol
Glad to see all the newbies...WECOME!! and that all our post-ops are doing well and our pre-ops are still hanging in there! May the LORD BLESS each and EVERYONE of you and your families!!
Deb M.
Good Morning,
I got the info on the park : hope I can find it!
I just wanted to pop in in and say good morning to everyone.
I have got a busy week ahead of me.
Today I have to take my g-daughter to the doctor, she has been having problems with her blood sugar, her father has juvenile diabetes so we are worried for her she is 17 and getting ready for prom this saturday.
I am taking her to get a manicure and pedicure tomorrow and to finish some last minute shopping for prom.
Then I have to take her to the beautician on thursday to get her hair highlighted with a carmel color and then I'm taking Dice to the vet Friday to get the pin in his femur removed.
Then Saturday it's Sydney back to the beautician to get her hair in an updo for prom that night. And somewhere in among all this I have to hem her prom dress!!
And if you remember I live in the boonies so all these trips involve anywhere from 40 miles round trip to 80 miles.
So pray traveling mercies on us and strength for my back and hip and maybe the pain be tolerable, cause I'm like Janet I don't like to take the pain meds and drive.
TTYL
Brenda

Dear Brenda,
I have already posted today-but when I went into check on other posts-saw your new picture and I just wanted to pop in and say WOW!!

YOU LOOK FANTASTIC...WONDERFUL...
and
to you!!!!!

I had to look at the name again to make sure it was you!!! WAY TO GO!
Brenda, I will definitely keep you lifted in prayer-because I know how all that running can affect our bones and joints and how painful that can be. I will pray for you that you can stay pain free-and feel good. Take care-Love and Prayers, Janet

Hello Missouri,
I've been sort of lurking - imagine me with nothing to say!!! I had a class all day yesterday so couldn't do email and last night I was beat. Glad to see so many posting but it took me forever to get caught up with the reading!!!
I had some little tummy discomfort over the weekend but it seems all resolved now. I think I ate too fast and too big bites!!! Good to have the reminder to make good choices. Tonight it is chicken thighs and a piece of baked sweet potato.
My funny kitty came in this AM with some fur out of place. I petted her and a small hunk came loose. Think she'd tangled with either a bird or another cat. Expect it was a neighbor cat.
My peonies seem to have made it through the cold weather. I am so hopeful. The lilac looks awful but I'm leaving it alone to see if it will come back. I haven't gotten the one I ordered from Park Seeds yet.
We went over to Marshfield to the Antique Mall Sunday afternoon. I needed to get a birthday gift for my friend up in North Missouri. I had such a blast. Hadn't done that for awhile. John even seemed to enjoy it. I'll go back alone next time though. I'm so slow that I feel bad for him.
I think I lost a couple more pounds. Our scales aren't digital and it is hard to see the small increments but it is getting closer to the 170 mark and further from the 175.
That makes me happy but I still say the best part is being healthier. It seems like I still take quite a few pills but they are mostly vitamins and laxitives/stool softeners. UGH!!!
I love to read all about all your daily activities and your flowers. I'm not a gardener but I am going to try to keep the tomatoes Jan gave me in February alive. They really haven't grown much. I am grateful they haven't died. Will deal with repotting the first of May.
I do love and care about all of you and pray for you and yours.
Hugs and love,
Lana
Good Evening Everyone:
Yes, It's evening before I finally had a moment to sit down and say Howdy to everyone. I posted yesterday or I should say tired to post. I redid my post 2 times. And OH booted me off and I didnt have the patients to do it a 3rd time. lol
Anyway's was up at 6ish this morning. Got all the trash out and ready for the trash men. Went into Joplin cleaned house, bank, did my blood work for my year follow up, stopped and got my nails filled, post office, stopped at the smoke shop, Sam's, Wal Mart, & McD'd for DH & DAD. Got home unloaded car, made a few phone calls. Took DH up to te Lawyer's office to pick up DPOA papers, stopped by the bank so they could look at them. Then back home unloaded DH and put car in garage as it is suppose to storm tonight. Needless to say I am pooped and not horse or cow poop either!!! lol
I hopefully am not leaveing the house tommorow. But just as sure as I say that I wont be home. lol I pray everyone had a blessed day and that it doesnt storm to hard in your area. I am going to get ready to start supper and get a shower before the lighting starts.
God Bless
Mel
