Question about Protein Shake Drinks

Hi all,,, I am still new here I just went to my seminar and am getting all the paperwork together with my doc.. hope it doesnt take forever for a date, but anyway, i have to lose some weight before, if i get approved, and I used to drink the carb solutions drink they recommended at the seminar, i have been looking everywhere and cant find it, all our wal marts have discontinued it. Does anyone know where to buy it.. Also, is there anything else powder that tastes good? I bought some powder at wal mart, whey protein, and it is so nasty i cant drink it... Thanks all cindy

i have tried several different ones soy and whey. some of each is nasty. the whey i buy is called "ON" 100% whey isolates. and you can get differnt flavors i use the vanilla ice cream flavor becasue i can add different flavors to it and not get bored or tired of it. You can buy it at GNC or if you live close to Springfield you can get it at Food 4 Less for a little less money , there is also places online to buy it. . It is in a Black plastic label around a white jug. at food 4 less they only handle the 5 pound jug. Jan

Cindy...I use the vanilla whey powder at wal mart.....I use sf pudding mix to flavor mine or sometimes I use Dannos lite and fit yogurt to flavor with......There are sevearl different flavors of sf pudding mix you can get at wal mart.....I use ....butterscotch, chocolate fudge, pistachio, banana cream, cheese cake,lemon, white chocolate & keep hoping to find coconut cream pie......I like using the yogurt in my moring shakes... I hope this is of some help....I know there are alot out there to choose from so hopefully you will find one you like ok......Hugs...Tammy H.

Hi Cindy, I get my shakes already premaid in a can,Its called (ADVANTAGE)made by ATKINS,I always get the Strawberry Supreme shake,It comes with four in a box and I'll get about 4 boxes at a time,when I get home I take em out of the boxes and stick em in the fridge,when they are nice in cold I'll pop one open and drink.The trick is to drink em cold its must tastier when they're cold lol.I hope you find what your looking for.Anyways thats what DR.Hornbostel said I should get for protein drinks,two a day, "one in the morning and one in the evening" and BLAMM I'm good lol.Best of luck and Godbless.....TONY
