Transportation To Springfield!!!!

Hello board. I was wondering if anyone on here know any transportation that can get me to springfield. I do have a car but its not in goog shape to get there. I live in monett that is like 30 to 40 mins from springfield. I did have a ride but I cant get in touch with her and she wont answer my call. I was going to,Doc Edwards sminar and I was so excited to go and now that i feeling really down cuz i have no way of getting there. I'm new to missoui so I really dont know how to get around. I really really wanna go I have been plannig this all month and now its seems like its all over for me. I just wish people that say that they will do something will if not just call and say something so I can make other plans . oooh that upset me. Well sorry to vent out thats not even me but I was hoping to go. So if you know anything that can help please and I mean please let me know .

I am so sorry about the situation you are in!!! Your friend should have let you know before now if she could not take you so you could have more time to look for a ride.....My ole van is not up to parr to make my 6hr trips to Columbia either....So I started using the transit van to take me ....I don't have to worry about putting miles on my familes vehicles nor do I have to drive........I don't know if you have the same system in your area or not.......I am on medicade and they have a transit system in my area.....Medicade pays for your trips to the doctor, all you have to do is contact them 3 days in advance....But I have no ideal where all that pertains too...... If you don't make it to the seminar PLEASE keep your head up!!!!!! They ususally have them monthly so you can reschedule for next month then you will have more time to work on transpertation to get there.....
