Just an update...
My illness went from a cold to broncitis, then pnuemonia, in a week. I am spending a lot of time in bed and having to sit up to sleep. I'm on several pills so I don't have much room for anything else. It doesn't matter tho, I don't have an appetite anyway...everything taste the same. My kids call here and ask to speak to me, when I'm the one answering the phone. Then I tell them, it's me and they don't believe me. My voice has really gotten deep with all the coughing, I guess. It's kinda funny in a way.
I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel tho. I have started coughing up stuff so big, I think I should name it...ewww, I know!!
Jake on the other hand, we still aren't sure about but we're praying for him to be healed as well. David and I are starting to think that maybe he has an obstuction in his digestive track somewhere. I'm praying that he gets better without that being the problem. With the xrays, blood and urine tests alone, cost is way too much and we don't even wanna start talking surgery.
Jake is eating a little and drinking a little water at a time....you'd think he was the one that had the weight loss surgery done! When I see him eat, I can hear Jan in my head saying...sip, sip, sip, nibble, nibble, nibble....lol He has taken all his meds but is still getting sick. He has lost a little weight but doesn't look like a bag of bones yet. I just wish we knew what it was wrong and could take care of it.
If he isn't better by Monday, I will be calling our vet to see what the next procedure is and how much everything cost from here on out and see if he will take payments.
As for Jason and Wendy....it looks like they may be going to the Justice of the Peace to get married. They both lost their jobs at the church because of them getting pregnant out of wedlock. They both worked with small children. She is now working at Pennys and he is working at Lowes. We'll keep praying and wishing them the best. I guess they finally got their own place....Jason called his Dad tonight to ask how to fix his shower. The little thing that makes the running water for a bath go to a stream sprayed out for a shower won't work. His Dad was asking him questions about it and Jason couldn't explain it real well...David finally told Jason...look son, I can't see it, if you can't explain it then why are we even talking about it....I butted in and asked Jason if he had a digital camera and a computer so he could email us a picture of the type faucet he had but they went some other way. What a mess...lol Glad I'm here and not there!
Jason wanted to use my tiller the other day so he and Wendy could have a garden this year too. I told him yeah, when my yard drys out long enough that I can till mine first. But, isn't it nice how well their playing house? Their making all these cute little plans, in their new little house, with all the painting, renting new furniture, fixing up the nursery and working and coming home to each other. Cooking the meals, they sound like Ozzie and Harriet! They have no idea how much things are gonna change when that baby gets here....lol
Anyway....a lot of things going on in people's lives on the board too! Please know that your all in my prayers and just because I havent been on much, it doesn't mean I don't love you guys anymore, I've just been pretty sick! Love & LOTS of Prayers, Deb M

I have been keeping you in my prayers and lifting you in prayer! Along with Jake. I hope that you are BOTH back to your old selves very soon! I miss "seeing" your smiling face on board-and I wish I lived closer so I could come and help you out!
