WANTED!!!!! FRIENDS TO CARPOOL WITH TO GO TO MEETINGS!!!!!!

Howdy Everyone!!!!! I am still wanting to start a car pool of sorts for people in the bootheel area to make trips together to support meetings!!!! There is not really any right here in the bootheel area so I thought if some of us car pooled we could try making it to at least one meeting a month....My car is kinda crappy for traveling but I would be more than glad to put in on the gas!!!!!! I live in Campbell right at the top of the bootheel aprox 30 minits from Poplar Bluff....So if anyone interested in trying to work up a car pool to go to meetings PLEASE drop me a line!!!! Hi, Cindy I have only been to one meeting so far.....I went to a meeting in Springfield to meet the women that were going to be my Angels....We don't really have a support group right here at us.....The places I know of are Springfield, different areas in St Louis and in the Kansas City area......I have heard there is one in Cape but I don't know any thing about it...... It took us aprox 3 1/2 hrs to go to Springfield....But it was worth it, getting to visit with others understanding what you go thru and hearing so much advice and the chat on how things went with each person...I got to see alot of before and after pics too....It was really encouraging!!!! Sometimes they exchange clothes and Protein products. Between my ole van being crappy and the distance to all the meetings, that is why I have been trying to find a few other people to carpool with....It would be less expensive for everyone with as high as gas is getting and would be a great trip getting to chat with other WLS friends....It's just one time a month so if we could get a few people together it wouldn't be so bad to have to go that far.... I wish I could help...I am on the otherside of Springfield in Carthage and I ended up in Rogers AR today for support group. its actually the same distance for me. the women and gentleman that were there were wonderful and lots of information and support. I would be happy to give anyone a ride who is going my way to this support group. nutti/Lynette
