Copied this from Trudy's post on Whats happening Saturday.....was going to request prayer for her and thought her own words would do best.... Please keep Trudys grandson and family in your prayers as well as the anuall walk they are having for Autism tomorrow!!!!!...................................................... I don't remember if I told you that our youngest grandson, 3 y/o Miles, has autism. The annual walk is tomorrow and we had all kinds of plans. Looks like Miles and I will be cheering from home while family & friends go out and spread awareness and make some money while they are at it. It's such a heartbreaking disorder. Sometimes I just want to hold him and make it better, but usually that is the last thing he wants. He has come a long way, and will sit and snuggle with me now, loves to give kisses, but you need to be careful as once in a while he will throw in a head butt or two. He was non-verbal until a few months ago and still has only a few words that we understand. Mom and Grandma are so similar, heck they may be the same word, Miles is the only one that knows. So if you could all say a prayer for our walkers and volunteers tomorrow we would appreciate it. April is Autism awareness month so keep us in your heart and prayers. One out of every 150 children are affected by Autism and 70% of them are boys. Just a couple of years ago it was 1 in every 160, we need to bring these numbers down and make our babies well! Have a great weekend, maybe Sunday will be pretty. We can always hope. Trudy
