Protein???

I am worried, I had my surgery Monday the 9th and I went on my clear liquid diet the 2nd. My doctor has not put me on protein yet. I have been doing just a clear liquid diet. I take a multi vitamin. Has anyone else had there doctor do this? My papers say I start my protein 1 week post op. I go see the DR on Tuesday the 17th. Sherry

yep that is the way Dr. Hornbostel in Sedalia does . The most important thing is the liquid that first week. You have such a limited capacity anyway and you need the water and fluid . Believe me you wont starve. lol Jan
