Best part of the day was handing over that envelope. Hubby took me to dinner and then the movies. We did took the youngest Liam with us too. So we saw Meet the Robinsons. Then we played games for about 2 hours. It was funny and we all had a nice time. I suffer from Migraines and the rain is killing me. Barometric pressure is playing havoc with my head. Sitting here working wearing sunglasses cause it causes me to light sensitive and I have an ice bag on my head to ease the pain. I also took my meds but sometimes they either just lessen the pain or don't do anything at all. I have had them all my life. I have been to the Ryan Headache Clinic and I'm the 1 percent of the people who get them they can't find out why. My mother had them too and said when she went through the change of life they stopped. Well I'm 45 and the Gyn said I'm not even pre menaposal, so who knows when they will stop. Some days I want to tear off my head. Anyone know where you can live where the barametric pressure never changes? So now I wait. Anyone know how long I should wait before I call DePaul and say whats up with my paper work. Don't want to seem pushy but want to know whats what. Have a great day! Hugs, Bel

Morning everyone - well, afternoon now I guess. I've had an off week, as I've been fighting a cold/virus or something. I'm tired! It's time for my B12 shot, so maybe that will help. I've ordered some new protein samples, to see if I can tolerate any without feeling like I"m going to gag. I think I need to increase my protein and get back to the basic pouch rules that I seem to have slipped from a bit. Other than that, just usual life busyness. Traci

Hey all, I'ts been quite some time since I've had a chance to be on here. I've read the posts on this one and will pray for all who need it. My goodness I feel so grateful for my good fortune lately, and even more so when I read all the things some of you are dealing with. I got my new job.....only sent out one resume and GOT IT! : ) Big smiles here! THank you so much for the prayers and encouragement. It's a BIG pay jump for me and I think I'm going to love this place, everyone seems great! Plus I'll only be workign 4 days a week now! I was so comfortable going in for my interview....I even told them about my WLS as we talked about foods and eating at one point in the interview and they commented about me being so thin, so I TOLD them! Turns out one has a sister who wanted to have it too and their aunt(an RN) talked her out of it. So this co-wrkr wants to talk with me more about this. Traded my mom-mobile(minivan) in as well and am driving around something more "sporty" which was long overdo! : ) Then Easter weekend I got the guts to put "crayola Red" streaks in my hair!!! It's BOLD, but is already fading some and I like the change, Hubby says I look 21 now! I better KEEP the color!! LOL I wasn't sure what the new employer would think but they were ok with it, just suggested I not get any crazier! lol The first two times I met with them there was no color in it. My body fat dropped another 2.5% and dropped one pound as well. So the working out is paying off, even though it's goign SLOW!!! I feel like I'm going through some great changes all around these days. It's such a good feeling!!! And I've been thanking God for all of it! : ) Blessings to all!!!!!!!!! Tami

WOO HOO, Tami, Congratulations on the new job, new car and new hair. Anytime you get a new job you like and a pay increase it's the bomb. You do look really young, bet your hair is way cool. Can't wait until the 23rd to see you and everyone at Circle of Friends. Hugs to you and good old Jim too. Lana

Hi all... ...sorry guys, I didn't get your posts until it was to late to get into see my Doctor and all the ER down here will do is send me home with more antibiotics. Isn't that all they do for pneumonia anyway? What are you guys getting from my posts that I'm missing? I've had my pneumonia and flu shots this year. I don't mean to sound stupid but am I really that sick? I got the fever broke and I'm coughing up a lot of yucky stuff and I'm feeling better (slightly) today than yesterday. I still cough like crazy and I have a headache from all the coughing. My nose keeps getting clogged or draining and I still have a burning feeling in my throat and my voice is real raspy...lol When my kids call they think that I'm really their Dad and that I'm playing a practicial joke on them, I wish! If you guys still think I need to go to my pcp in the morning, post and I will try to get in here early to read your answers and if you all still choose for me to go to my doc, then I will, I promise! Well, I just stopped by to check in on everyone, I'm gonna go back to bed....Love & Prayers, Deb M
