Hey girl....Just ask on my post if anyone had heard from you yet?????? Welcome home!!!! Since I have not made it thus far yet I have not had the gas issue but from reading on the borad I know alot of the use the gas-ex strips......I'm sure if there are any other remidies they use someone will be dropping you infor on it in a bit....
So how are things other than the gas?????? Congrats on becoming a Looser!!!!! Keep us updated on how things are going.....God Bless....Hugs....Tammy H.

Some of that gas if from air they put in you to blow up your abdomen to give the physician more room to work on you. It will eventually go away. I didn't have too much gas problems but I do use Gas-X, started with strips but they were expensive so now I use the generic Walgreens gelcaps and just pierce them once or twice with a pin before I swallow them. That seems to work for me. I'll be praying that your pain will stop soon. It all gets so much better in a week or so.

Welcome to the losers bench....Im sorry, I dont have any advice on the gas-when I had my surgery in November-everyone forgot to tell me about the gas x-and so I just had to live through it-and it did last for 4-5 days-and I can tell you this-there were times I thought I was a skit in the dumb and dumber or white chick movie-LOL...I know the swelling makes you uncomfortable-and made me feel like I looked pregnant! But-like I said, after 4-5 days it went away and I have heard a lot on this board swear by gas-x, so I hope it works for you....Keep us posted and again-welcome and we will be praying for a speedy recovery.
