I Have an ANGEL!!

WooHoo! Just wanted to say Yipppeeeeeeee! My wonderful little ANGEL is Pat B. Why, she is as excited as I am. Counting down my days to 14 more! Going Monday for pre-op. Loading up on my SlimFast. I didn't slide under the radar on that one. LOL I will be seeing y'all on the bench before long. Just want to say thanks to all of you for your help and support. Luv and hugz! Happy Easter too! Hi Charlotte. I am so excited for you! I have a dumb question. What is an angel? From the best I can figure it is someone who keeps in contact with you and keeps the rest of us updated on the board. Is that right? Jennifer

yes that is right Jennifer. They can be someone that is in contact with your personally or only by internet and phone. mainly to help steer you right in the things you are going thru and also to have someone like your husband call the day of surgery to let them know that you are all right and made it thru the surgery fine. so they can post it on the board for everyone to know. Charlotte, Glad to see that you have an angel, I am still an orphan.... lol did you hear that Julia is back in the hospital? You are going to your pre-op on Monday, maybe you can stop in to see her and say hi for me. I will see if she is still there on wednesday when I go for my pre-op. Just think it won't be long until our dates are here... YIPPPPEEEE

Hi Jennifer, Jan is correct. An angel is your buddy that keeps all of us posted on your condition so we can applaud you and your new beginning. Please let us know once you have a date will ya? Hello Char, I was just looking around on the board and saw this post. I am so happy you are letting me be your Angel I feel like Flappin my Wings all over the Place Yep - I'm her on-line friend (we've never met in person ) But she and I have been going through this mess together, pretty much, at least we were able to confide in each other about the ups and downs of pre-certification and since we both had the same insurance we helped each other with names and phone numbers too. Usually people on this board find more than a few people who are willing to be their Angel and I got Lucky cause Charlotte was mine ! Now it's her turn to go through the surgical end of this process and I'll be right here for her afterwards. She's more like my cyber sister than just a friend and I luv her for her patience with my whineing soon she'll be right there next to me on the Loser's Bench.. and I'll be cheering her on for the whole distance. Patsy, You are too kind. It was such a pleasure being your angel. You were the perfect patient, and that's a fact. I would do it again anytime, but let's hope this is your last surgery, right? Right.
