WHATS HAPPENING........EASTER SUNDAY

Happy Easter. He is Risen, He is Risen. Amen A wonderful reason for a celebration isn't it? So many people remember the time of year that Jesus was born but I want to remember that he died and was risen the 3rd day. Well one more night of extream cold and then we will get back to normal weather hopefully. I knew it was too soon for us to be having weather like we were having. Two different friends of mine planted several annuals during all of that warm weather and I tried telling them that April is famous for being fickle with the weather. But they kept saying we are having an early spring this year since the winter was so cold. And went ahead and planted all sorts of flowers. Such a shame they were really pretty flowers. But aren't now. Until the first of May it is impossible to say that spring is really here in the Ozarks most of the time. Joes niece, Jessica, (our adopted daughter, or seems like it ) her boyfriend and her daughter and their daughter came out today. The baby is 2 months old now and is getting At such a cute baby stage. So soft and cuddley. Love that smell don't you? Tammy: I think most of the flowers that I was able to cover is going to survive. Saturday night will tell . I think I have got most of them covered enough. I will be really glad to get back to 60s in the day and 40s at night. Sugar is doing better but she has a ways to go I think. Altho she is eating better. She had a tiny bit of Tuna today. She said she is trying her best to get in more protein to help the healing. She said at least she feels better sitting up. Doesn't feel like she has to lay down all the time. That is a big improvement. Believe me. Janet:the only plants that I might lose would be things that come up on their own and have spring blooms. So far I haven't see any that were ruined. I have kept them covered as well as I could. With straw and then big plastic bucket. Thank you for praying for my flowers. How is your knee from where you fell. Hope it isn't giving you too much trouble. LOL had to laugh about the older kids getting in an argument at Work and expecting you to solve their work related problems. Lol Don't you know that mamas supersede bosses!!!!!! Is John feeling better now? Sure hope so. Watch that candy and his tummy. Melissa: well how is your thumb,---Grace. Sounds like you have about as much dexterity as I do . lol Hope Terry is doing well now that he is home. The fil doing all of these silly things and thinking his late wife was with him either is Alzheimer's or could be a reaction to some of the medicine that he just started on. I know that is quite a variance of ideas there but it could be either or a lot in between. Some of the things that he is doing like the cooking with all that oil and burning it is dangerous for everyone. As is the getting outside in this awful cold and digging up dandelions. Without a coat. Will keep all three of you in my prayers. Well it has been a tiring day to say the least, so I am going to go to bed early and hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter . I got up early this morning after a late night so that I could finish some last min stuff for dinner at my fathers house today and lol, I have been reading posts here since 6:45. So there goes that extra hour I really needed before church. Mel I am glad that you and your DH are home from the hospital and all went well. I hope that he has a fast recovery time so you can get your tt taken care of. Jennifer S I have been wanting to post on your post and I promise I will send you a reply this evening. I live in St. Charles too. What kind of an attorney are you? I am still waiting for surgery date but I am close to you, and will will have my follow up visits at depaul hospital, (I guess that is where you are seeing your Dr.) Tammy Dont you worry girl I know that you will get that last 23lbs off before you know it. I have to call on Monday to Scott's office so maybe we can get an appointment together soon! Lana How are you doing? Panty hose praying is definally ness. for me LOL! Jan Isn't it funny how we havent really talked but People can worry about someone and there hard work. Last Thursday morning when my DH and I woke up to the cold temps in Columbia, I kept saying "Oh poor Jan, I hope all of her flowers are okay! (I cant even grow weeds) I must have said it alot without realizing it because right around noon my husband looked at me and said "Who the heck is Jan!" LOL hope the plants and flowers make it. Glad about Sugar eating!! And Last But NOT Least Ms. Wings!! Janet I wont embarress you and ramble on and on like I usually do about how much you are helping me. You know your "angelettes" love ya!!! But if you dont slow down Tammy and I are gonna have to get some Super Glue cause you run so much those " wings" are gonna fall off! Why didn't you say something last night about your knee??? You know you got people that worry about you too! Try to take it easy today, (I know you wont), but please try!! I care about ya Girl! What a wonderful day in the Lord, I thank God for his wonderful son on this easter morning...I was lazy and didnt go to sun rise services but hubby went. I am so excited I have lost 50 pds. and I thought I would never get to losing, but it has been great because I am not hungry, I could have never done this without surgery. I just praise God for it..I sure went thru a stall for awhile then it cut lose..lol God bless all...vesta

Happy Easter & God Bless Jan and OH Family~ I am feeling really blessed today-and I have been thinking about all the blessings I have and how God has blessed myself and my family..I sure feel good today, except for those nasty aches and pains-but...I am blessed, because I am alive-and so its ok. I know God has plans for me, so I am just going to have faith that this is short term and that the spinal on Weds will work!! The weather is suppose to warm up tomorrow-WOO HOO...maybe then, the little guy and I can get those flowers and plants re-potted-since he seems to have a green thumb and everything he plants-takes off like crazy-Jan-I think Jon is related to you somehow-I bought him his own little garden kit-with the little watering can and tools-he LOVES it!! So-sometime next week before Weds-we are going to get things replanted. GUESS WHAT? I didnt go anywhere yesterday!! I didnt do anything but cook and a little cleaning-NOTHING...I took it extremely easy, laid around with the heating pad on my knee or back and even took a nap! Oh-and I colored my 16 yr olds hair-that pretty much was the extent of my excersion....LOL..It sure felt good. My knee is still tender and bruised, didnt hurt too bad yesterday, sure making up for it today though. My grandma always said-the 3rd day is the worst-so maybe it will be all better tomorrow. My oldest daughter called me yesterday-she already got a 1500.00 scholarship for Stephens college-YIPEE.....I am so proud of her and she is doing so well-I hope that she is able to get the rest of the funding she needs to allow her to go there for this next 2 years. I want to say that I am so very thankful for my angelettes-you girls mean the world to me. I thank you for all the compliments-but trust me when I say that you mean as much to me as I do you-you help me too-its very therapuetic and makes me feel good to help you all-even if I am just sharing knowledge and my own experiences. It starts out that way-but then you become much more than that-you become friends and family and I love you all dearly and pray for you each and every day!!! My life certainly wouldnt be the same without you guys in it! Thanks everybody for everything you do everyday here. You love, care, lift spirits, share funnies-and even bad times-and you are all so special. I am thankful and very blessed by having you ALL in my lives-I appreciate all of you and look forward to seeing you all every morning!!
