Hi Everyone

Hope everyone is doing great I have not been on here in such a long time ... I am down to 140 had my T.T boy was that hard .. Got it done back in Oct. I can still feel it.I would love to get my arms done now ....I better go I am at school Hope everyone has a great weekend.I got done with hair school now I am going back to be a teacher so I can teach others how to do hair ..I would of never done all this 215 lbs ago LOL...Love you all .. congradultations Shelly that is really amazing 2 years ago from where you came to now. I cant wait to get all of my weight off and get a tummy tuck . wow you can still feel the pain from the tummy tuck? that was 6 months ago maybe i will rethink that lol how you come back on the board more often now. Congrats Shelly. I retired from teaching, I really liked that profession...you had to write a book on it when I took mine, and they used my book for teaching students, I felt good about that..good luck and God bless....vesta

Hi Shelly, I am talking to another member of the board-Melissa Russell, and she asked me to post to you-and ask you a couple of things (she is at the hospital in Springfield with her husband who is having surgery)....she asked me to ask you how much weight you lost due to the tummy tuck? She has been approved for hers-and was just curious. How long did it take to recover? What was the pain level? Would you do it again? Mel has lost 230# already.....was it staples or stitches? I have an inground pool and we are wondering how long before she will be able to get in the pool with us. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated-and CONGRATS....WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT...I bet you feel like a new person-you sure look great!!! Wish you lived closer-I have been wanting to do something different with my hair, but cant seem to bring myself to go in and have someone do it without understanding what I want or where I am coming from.... I would do it again.There was alot of pain I think more then with the by-pass but at 355 lbs I didn't move around alot any way and when I had T.T I was I think 150 and wanted to be on the go and just could not do that to good.I think they took off about 8 lbs of skin.and I lost about 10 lbs after surgery well it was more then that I got down to 135 .. I was back at school 5 weeks after surgery if I could do it over I would not of came back that soon I would of stayed out 8 weeks.It really was not all to bad.I had stiches it was not bad I would say your friend should have it done as soon as she can she will be good to go by time it gets hot for that pool .. I love not having that big fat roll any more.I didn't like the drains I had 3 of them for about 3 weeks . Wow Shelly....sounds like you have done a great job on the weight loss.....I am looking forward to shedding serious pounds like that as well.....I can't wait to finally get my surgery date.....I'm looking forward to seeing your post on the tummy tuck too....I know I will have to have one done and I'd love to hear some info first hand....Best of luck on your schooling!!!
