I am going out to eat tonight, I sure can't eat much before I feel full. I am only 6 weeks out from RNY. Any suggestions? I haven't even tried salad yet at home. I don't care for their soups, I can only eat about 2-3 ounces of meat before I am stuffed. Does anyone have do's or don't food from there. Thank you for any info. Lana.....You mentioned something about an appetizer shrimp right????? Another question when did everyone start eating salad again? I really miss my salads but then again the protein content is nothing unless I add meat or eggs and I can't fit all that in. Thanks for any info. Tara

Tara, I eat Typhoon Shrimp but remember I'm further out than you are. It is semi-breaded and very spicy but that hasn't ever bothered me. I can only eat about four of them and then I keep the rest for another couple of meals. I am just starting to add lettuce and tomatoes, shredded lettuce and finely chopped tomatoes. I haven't tried raw celery, green peppers or onion. I ate a chopped salad at Mimi's in KC this past weekend and it had chopped white chicken, crisp bacon, hard boiled egg, avocado, blue cheese, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce. I mostly ate the "good" stuff off the top and left the lettuce, no room. I think Ruby Tuesday has a tilapia entree' that you might be able to eat too. I just love the shrimp so always eat it. Have a good time and be soooooo careful. Hugs Lana

Thank you.... I ordered the Typhoon shrimp and just took off the breading and dipped it in the spicy stuff and LOVED it. I ate about five or six...no problems, that felt really good not to miss out on this dinner. My hubby was really glad also, he is out of town but ready for us to be able to start going out again. I also tried the broccoli cheddar soup at Applebees today ....that was really good also. Big day for me, I was starting to feel left out, not any more.....save me a seat!!! Tara.
