~Prayer Request for Wednesday~

Hello everyone~Tammy asked me if I would post the prayer request post for her today. If anyone has a prayer request OR a praise report-please post it here. If it is an unspoken request-thats fine as well....I dont have the list like Tammy does-so if I miss something, Please come in and add it. Please say a prayer for Terry today, he is in surgery right now. Please pray for Mel to be strong AND for her thumb and hand to heal quickly. Please say a prayer for Julia and Sugar who are recovering from surgeries/hospital stays this week. Please pray for Debs fur family that the vet finds out whats wrong and they feel better soon! Please pray for our members traveling today to their appts-and that they all get good news today. Please say a prayer for our post ops that are struggling to find their groove! Please pray for our pre-ops for peace of mind. Please pray that all of our members who have spent a lot of their time planting flowers and etc-that they dont lose all their beautiful hard work. Please pray for Tami in her job interview today that it goes well and she gets the job she wants. Ok-if I forgot someone-please feel free to add to my list-if I forgot someone-Im sorry, I didnt mean to-have loads of stuff going on already this morning and the smoke is coming out my ears from racking my brain trying to remember your names and situations-LOL....I love you all and hope you have a blessed day-stay warm. Thank you all for your prayers! I am still keeping everyone in my prayers...for all physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and financial needs, unspoken prayers, losses of family and/or friends, pre/post ops, prayers needed for family and friends as well as those traveling! May the Lord hold you all close keeping you comforted and at peace! I took Jake to my vet yesterday and yes, he is a sick puppy! He had a fever and blood in his stool. Heart and lungs sounded good! At this time, we aren't real sure what he has but my vet has him on a diet of baked chicken and rice, 1 cup every few hours since he may have an intestinal bug (illness). He also gave me antibiotics because of the fever, got to be an infection if theres a fever! He gave me some wormer medicine too. My vet didn't see any fleas or worms so this is just precautionary but with the bloody stool and loss of appetite and yucking theres a chance and we don't need him having a problem with anything else while we're dealing with this. So, as of right now we, the vet and I believe that both Jake and Gracee got ahold of something, ate it and it didn't agree with them. Gracee probably didn't get as much as Jake, he can be such a male! Gotta have more that everyone else...lol My vet did give me enough for both of my babies!...just in case. I'm to keep him posted on ANY changes! It was kinda funny at first, Jake's size can be a little intimidating at first glance. They didn't quite know which way to approach him. (Some of you know I almost changed his name to Clifford (big red dog) when he started really sprouting!) I just kept my hand near Jake's mouth and face so he would smell my scent mostly and I did a lot of praising and baby love talk with him and I had him on a tight lead (just in case). Jake sure kept an eye on my vet and his assistant but never acted agressive....good boy!! He was the perfect gentleman (dog) while being examined, even when he got his temp took...lol My vet thought that Jake's laid back, dosile personality was part of the illness. I told him, nooo that Jake has always been that way. I told him that we were very blessed when we got him! He's just a very big teddy bear or maybe a gentle giant. I will keep everyone updated on Jake and Gracee .....thanks again for the prayers! Deb M

Sugar is on her way back to St.Louis for a check up . they will do a cat scan and also a dye test on her and if no more pockets of absesses they will remove her drain. Also they will be checking her blood to see how her potassium levels are. Please Pray that she will be clear and healed. Love to all of you . Jan
