MINNIEPAUZ MOMENT!!!

I have a friend that told me about the website www.minniepauz.com! Just thought I would share one of my many "Minniepauz" moments that happened today, I was opening my office this morning and there was a Judge and 2 Attorneys that needed to talk to me about a defendant that didnt show for court. Now I know these people are just everyday normal people but for some reason I always get uncomfortable when a "Judge" wants to talk to me. So several times I am standing there with my keys trying to get the door open. Finally one of the attorneys bend over laughing to me and says " Maybe you should use the key instead of the, (I look down and I was trying to open the office door with my vans push button unlocker). I was so embarssed. I guess it could have been worse, do you think these two women are having a minniepauz moment or what! Oh Susan- Shouldnt have posted to share with you-I have had so many of these that its scary. First, let me tell you-I was married once before-he was very abusive to me and I really just felt like I had to stay in the marriage because of my daughters-so......He had this BIG old GMC dually-the ones that went way out over the wheel wells in back-ok-picture this- its parked in the carport, my daughter and I are going somewhere (she is 5) and she forgets something in the house-so she goes in the house to retrieve whatever-and I decide to back down the driveway and meet her where the house was-ALRIGHTY THEN...I start backing up and I hear this massive crack AND crunch-well-I had snapped the carport pole in half AND the door was all the way forward towards the front wheel well! (just like on Tommy Boy at the gas station-only MINE Happened first!! LOL) I am like OH SH*T..I get out and I am pushing on the door WITH ALL MY MIGHT and it shuts-but I have Megan climb in drivers side and slide over. Well-I go pick up the hubby at work-he gets in and we start on the way home, I go around the corner at the main road-and the door flies open and he falls out!! I tried to look stunned as to what happened....He wasnt hurt-but I didnt fess up-so my daughter like 2 days later tells him what I did!! Year later-and 2nd hubby (the Good one!) Another time-I had a Ford Tempo-and I got in (same carport/house) shut the door and try to back up and it wont go- (was a standard) So I pull forward-and then back up again giving it a lot of gas-and the car goes back a bit and jerks forward and I heard another crash-this time-I had slammed the cable in the top of the door-and didnt even see it (DUH) and it pulled the antenna right off the top of the house and my hubby came flying out to see what happened-the top of the door was peeled back and from then on whenever it rained-it got wet there! Just about a year later-I was at work and Mike had bought me an Astro Van-we had tiered parking at the hospital I worked at-I was on the 2nd tier and after work went to back up and there was a huge long truck behind me-so I was like-well, no one is parked in front of me (DUH) and put it in drive-and my van sat on the concrete tier for several hours until my hubby and friends came to get it-bad part-EVERYONE at work saw me do it-AND I was so embaressed when I called him to tell him what happened and there my van sat rocking back and forth! This one is halarious, but happened to my best bud at the time (Kimmie) her and her fiance were getting frisky-it was dark-she reaches in the drawer and pulls out what she thinks is some LOVE POTION-all the sudden Preston starts screaming-its hot, its hot-and Kimmie says-I know-its suppose to get hot-then he gets up and starts running through the house crying, holding his privates and bawling his eyes out-she turns on the light-and it was 3 in 1 sewing machine oil~ Needless to say-Preston ended up in the emergency room with 3rd degree burns on his part!! Ok-dont have time for any more this morning-but I have a ton of them-hope they made you smile girl-Love ya, Janet

OMG........ Janet those are toooo funny. But that so and so (#%@&) that was abusive to you, I know if he fell out of the car you had to have a good laugh about that! Hope he was banged up good!! Thanks so much for posting I really am starting to feel alot better expecially since I read your letter this morning and I did get your e-mail this morning. (Think I have gotten everything fixed with AT&T this morning on the e-mail problem I was having). That is very funny. I know judges are just former attorneys with a robe, but I still feel like I am being called to the principal's office every time I have to talk to a judge in chambers. Thanks for sharing!
