TIRED
Vesta,
Have you had any blood work done lately? Maybe they should check your B12 level as well as your iron level....sometimes when those two are low you will feel tired all the time....I would call you doc and see if they would order you some lab work.....When I felt that way is when my levels were low...
God bless
Rachael
Vesta, honey,
Are you getting in your protein. I remember you were having trouble with eating and it's time for you to be able to eat more protein. Eggs, cottage cheese, hard cheese, LF cream cheese, deli turkey and ham, chili, tuna - all these things are good proteins. You can't just drink protein drinks. I'm not scolding you, just trying to figure out why you're so tired. We're almost the exact same time out from surgery and I feel wonderful, more energy than ever. Can walk and shop and work every day. So, I want you to feel that way too. I am good about my vitamins and try to eat what I need most days. I still have problems getting in enough water, 40 oz is a good day for me. If you can eat smoked deli turkey try putting some LF cream cheese on it and wrapping it around a Splenda sweetened pickle. That's a great snack. I hope you are soon feeling better.
Also, the suggestion to check your labs is the main one you should listen to. Your PCP can order a B vitamin and iron check. You might be anemic or need B12 shots.
The main thing I want to say is you need to get past this somehow because you should not be so tired now. Maybe it is all the stress you've been under because of your friend. If so, it will pass if you just rest some.
Missed you on the 26th.
Hugs and love,
Lana
Vesta - I agree with the rest of the crew! Get your blood work done! When I was one week out I was already anaemic, which makes you just feel EXHAUSTED all the time. I got a B-12 shot that day and they had to get a perscription from the pharmacy so I can get enough iron. I still get really tired if I have to walk any distance but I'm sure as soon as I get buildt up some I'll feel better (at least that's what they all tell me) Please call your primary care doc and tell them you think may be anaemic. I'll bet that's what they find.
We will be waiting to hear whats up with you girl.
Feel better soon!
