Sugar still in Hospital

She is getting really depressed about all of this but her potassium level has risen now. She is fearful that if she goes home and will get sick again. She is eating today she said she had scrambled eggs and lunch was mashed potatoes and tomato soup. She said really about a tablespoon ful of each. It all went down well and stayed down she isnt gagging at food anymore. Said she was trying different things because she figuered that it was a good place to try new stuff and if it made her sick she was where they could take care of her. I think the doctor is just really cautious now about her. there were two pockets of infection and one of them was in her old stomach the surgeon said that he had never seen that before was a new one to add to his case studies. She is still on antibotics and still has the tube in. I think i would want to stay until they took the tube out if it were me now. She has had it almost a week. will be a week monday. continue to pray for her to be calm. Jan

Jan , I will continue to keep Auntie Sug in my prayers. Yes it is better for her to be there than at home till they are sure she is doing well. I wish her the best. Julia

Tell sugar we are still praying for her...and Julia your day is almost here, seems like just yesterday you were at the hospitol with me...you have my prayers, just wish I was closer so I could be there with you....Love ya...vesta

Momma J: Make sure you tell Sugar every day that we love and pray for her. I think of her as a "Mini Momma J" and know that she is lucky to be in the hospital, because like you said, should anything not agree w/ her, she is "right there" to get help. Has anyone said HOW the infection happened? was it from the outside or the inside? Keep us posted!
